#1. Experienced Marvin Phillips (6'7''-F-83, graduated '04, plays pro in Uruguay) led Olimpia to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Hebraica (2-7) 106-99 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB in Sunday night's game. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. Club Atletico Olimpia Montevideo (7-2) is placed first in the LUB. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Phillips has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg and 3.9rpg in nine games he played so far.
#2. Jawan Davis (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '11, plays in Colombia) led Cafeteros de Armenia to a victory over the fifth-ranked Tigrillos (1-1) 86-76 in the Colombian LPB last Saturday. Davis was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and added 3 passes. Cafeteros de Armenia (2-0) is placed first in the LPB. Davis has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 3.0apg.
#3. Efe Uwadiae-Odigie (6'8''-F/C-89, graduated '12, currently in France) managed to help ADA Blois Basket 41 in a victory against the 16th-ranked Olympique Antibes (6-16) 77-72 in the French ProB (second division) on Wednesday night. Uwadiae-Odigie scored only 4 points in 11 minutes. ADA Blois Basket 41 (14-7) is placed third in the ProB. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Uwadiae-Odigie averages 3.3ppg and 1.7rpg in three games. He is a naturalized Nigerian.
#4. Austin Lawton (6'9''-F/C-96, graduated '19, plays pro in the TBL) contributed to an easy victory against the Tampa Bay Titans (1-5) 124-107 in the TBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was his first game for Carolina Coyotes this season. His team have 3-0 record this season. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
