Every week we bring you a list of the top former Fighting Illini players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Look at great performance of Alfonso Plummer (22 points), Marcus Domask (19 points), and Trent Frazier (12 points).

#1. Puerto Rican player Alfonso Plummer, a 6'1'' guard at 28 years old, graduated from Illinois in 2022 after helping them secure the Big Ten Regular Season Co-Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Puerto Rico, Plummer recently faced a tough loss with the Capitanes de Arecibo (15-11) against the Santeros. Despite his outstanding performance, where he recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 assists in 40 minutes, Arecibo fell short on the road, losing 90-99 to the third-ranked Santeros. This defeat marked Capitanes de Arecibo's sixth consecutive loss, highlighting the team's challenging season. In a previous game against Aguada, Plummer showcased his skills by scoring 22 points, securing 2 rebounds, and distributing 10 assists. Despite his remarkable individual efforts, the team was unable to secure a victory. Throughout the season, Plummer has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 17.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game in the two matches he has played so far. His consistent performance and contributions on the court demonstrate his value as a key player for the team, even amidst their recent struggles.

#2. Marcus Domask, a 6'6'' guard/forward and Fighting Illini alumni from 2024, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene in Belgium. Despite his best efforts in the recent game against the second-ranked Giants in Antwerp, Domask's team, Oostende, fell short with a final score of 84-89. As the top scorer of the game with 19 points in just 24 minutes, Domask showcased his talent and skill on the court. This remarkable performance is particularly impressive considering that Domask is only in his second season of professional basketball. In the game against Antwerp, Domask not only scored 19 points but also contributed with 2 rebounds and 1 assist, demonstrating his versatility and impact on the game. Although Domask has been delivering consistently good performances, his team was unable to clinch the victory on this occasion. Throughout this season, Domask has maintained solid statistics, averaging 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game across 11 games. His strong presence on the court and ability to contribute both offensively and defensively make him a key player for Oostende as they continue to strive for success in the league.

#3. Trent Frazier, a 6'2'' guard who graduated from Illinois in 2022 after helping them win the Big Ten Regular Season Co-Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in Russia. In a recent game, Frazier was unable to lead Zenit (28-12) to victory as they faced off against the lower-ranked Lokomotiv (#4) and suffered a 76-84 loss on their home court. Despite Frazier's commendable performance, where he scored 12 points, provided 5 assists, and played for 37 minutes, Zenit could not secure the win. Frazier showcased his skills in the match against Lokomotiv by scoring 12 points, grabbing 1 rebound, and distributing 5 assists. Throughout the season, Frazier has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game across 52 games.

#4. Austrian Giorgi Bezhanishvili, a 27-year-old forward standing at 6'9'' and an alum of the Fighting Illini from 2021, is currently playing professionally in Indonesia. Despite his solid performance, he was unable to assist Satria Muda (15-5) in their recent game, where they were narrowly defeated 82-79 by the lower-ranked Borneo team (#3) in Pontianak. Bezhanishvili emerged as the second-highest scorer of the game with 15 points, along with contributing 8 rebounds and 4 assists during his 39 minutes on the court. This loss marked Satria Muda's third consecutive defeat. During the game against Borneo, Bezhanishvili showcased his talent by scoring 15 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. Despite his remarkable efforts, his team fell short of securing the victory. Throughout the season, Bezhanishvili has been having an exceptional year individually, boasting impressive statistics with an average of 16.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game over nine matches. It is noteworthy that Bezhanishvili also holds a Georgian passport.

#5. Ivorian Quincy Guerrier, a 6'8'' forward aged 27, who graduated from Illinois in 2024 after helping them win the Big Ten Tournament that year, currently plays professionally in Canada. In a recent game, he was a key player for the Montreal Alliance in their victory over the Stingers (3-6) with a final score of 95-76 in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Guerrier showcased his skills by achieving a double-double, scoring 13 points, grabbing 18 rebounds, and also contributing 4 assists and 2 blocks in just 30 minutes of play. Despite the Montreal Alliance having a somewhat lackluster 5-6 record this season, Guerrier's standout performance against Edmonton where he scored 13 points, secured 18 rebounds, and assisted 4 times, led his team to success. This outstanding display on the court earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, solidifying his reputation as a champion player. Throughout this season, Guerrier has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 13.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game across 11 games. It is noteworthy that he holds both American and Ivorian citizenship, enabling him to play in Ivory Coast as a domestic player.

#6. Justin Harmon, a 6'4'' guard and 24-year-old alum of the Fighting Illini from 2024, has been showcasing his skills in the professional league in Canada. Despite his best efforts, Harmon could not lead the Ottawa Blackjacks (4-6) to a victory in their latest game against the Bandits, where they suffered a 95-104 loss in Langley. Harmon, the team's second-best scorer, contributed 19 points and 3 steals in 28 minutes of play. In a commendable display of talent against Vancouver, Harmon scored 19 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and provided 1 assist. Despite his solid performance, Ottawa was unable to clinch the win. Throughout the season, Harmon has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 17.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game across 10 matches.

#7. Experienced basketball player Rayvonte Rice, a 6'4'' guard aged 33 who graduated from Illinois in 2015 and received an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award that year, currently plays professionally in Lebanon. In a recent match, he led Al Markaziyyah to a 68-62 victory over the closely-ranked Hoops in the Lebanese Decathlon Lebanese Basketball League. Rice's exceptional performance earned him the MVP title of the game, as he showcased his skills by scoring 20 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in just 31 minutes of play. Rice's impressive contribution of 20 points and 6 rebounds against Hoops was instrumental in securing the win for his team. His outstanding performance on the court truly exemplified the qualities of a champion. Throughout the season, Rice has maintained high statistics, averaging 18.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game over three matches. His consistent performance and leadership make him a standout finalist in the league.
