#1. Jeremiah Pope, a 27-year-old guard standing at 6'5'' who graduated from Shaw in 2023, is currently playing professionally in the TBL. Recently, he showcased his skills by leading the Raleigh Firebirds to a noteworthy victory against the Kissimmee Lambs with a score of 109-97 in The Basketball League. Despite his limited playing time of 18 minutes, Pope managed to score 11 points and secure 4 rebounds. The Raleigh Firebirds, with a somewhat lackluster record of 14-4 this season, have been on an upswing lately with three consecutive wins. Pope's exceptional performance in the game against Kissimmee Lambs, where he contributed significantly with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist, was instrumental in securing the win for his team, solidifying his position as the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Pope has maintained relatively good statistics, averaging 11.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the 16 games he has played so far. His background as a former Eurobasket Summer League player adds to his credibility, as the league is renowned as one of the top international summer leagues in the market.
