#1. Chris Jones (6'2''-PG-1993, played in 2014-15, plays pro in Israel) managed to help Hapoel Shlomo Tel-Aviv to win against the 15th-ranked Dubai (3-6) 109-97 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. He scored only 4 points and added 4 assists in 19 minutes. Hapoel Shlomo Tel-Aviv (7-2) is placed second in the Euroleague. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Jones' first year with the team. This season Jones averages 8.1ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized Armenian.
#2. Kevon Godwin (6'2''-G-2000, played in 2020-24, plays in Luxembourg) was the major contributor in Arantia's victory against the tenth-ranked Racing (2-6) crushing them 105-83 in the Luxembourg LBBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 24 points and added 6 passes (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line); quite an impressive performance considering it's only Godwin's second season in pro basketball. BBC Arantia Larochette (6-2) is placed second in the LBBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Godwin has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.3apg and 1.5spg in eight games he played so far.
#3. Raijon Kelly (6'4''-G-1993, played in 2014-15, currently in France) led Berck to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Besancon (2-9) crushing them 91-68 in the French NM1 (third division) last Tuesday. He recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in 36 minutes. Berck/Rang du Fliers (7-3) is placed fifth in Group B. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Kelly has relatively good stats this season 12.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 7.7apg and 1.8spg.
#4. Devaughn Jenkins (6'7''-F-1995, played in 2016-18, plays pro in Azerbaijan) could not help Sheki (2-4) in their last game. Despite Jenkins' very good performance the fifth-placed Sheki (2-4) was crushed104-79 at home by the second-ranked Absheron in the Grupa A group. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Jenkins also added 8 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended. Jenkins has relatively good stats this year 13.7ppg, 8.7rpg and 1.3apg in six games.
#5. Yildon Mendoza (6'9''-F-1996, played in 2018-19, plays in Colombia) led Caimanes to a victory against the closely-ranked Storm (5-7) 96-89 in the Colombian LBP in Sunday night's game. Mendoza recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and made 2 blocks in 20 minutes. Caimanes del Llano (7-5) is placed fourth in the LBP. The Regular Season already ended. It's Mendoza's first season with the team. This year he averages 9.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.5bpg.
#6. Andres Ibarguen (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2019-20, currently in Uruguay) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Welcome crushing them 102-80 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB last Monday. Ibarguen recorded 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg and 3.8rpg in six games.
#7. D.J. Basey (6'10''-F-2000, played in 2023-24, plays pro in Armenia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Artik crushing them 91-68 in the Armenian A-League on Sunday night. Basey recorded 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 27 minutes. It was his first game for Urartu this season.
#8. Collin Turner (6'1''-G-1995, played in 2018-20, plays in France) was not able to help Metz (1-10) in their last game. Despite Turner's very good performance the 14th-placed Metz was edged68-65 on their home court in Metz by the higher-ranked (#10) Andrezieux in the Group B. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Turner has very impressive stats this year 20.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.1apg and 1.9spg in 10 games.
