 Championship Game at Kellogg Arena
Battle Creek and Dayton played in front of 1,854 fans and put on a great show. From tip-off, it was fiery and exciting; the game went back and forth with Dayton seeming to be the stronger team in the fourth quarter, but Battle Creek had been behind in the second half of many games this season (Oakland, Detroit, Macomb County, Des Moines) so Battle Creek was in familiar territory. In the final minute and a half, Battle Creek's Robby Collum hit a jumper to tie the game at 119-119, then stole the ball and scored two free throws to make it 121 to 119; finally Robby hit a few more free throws to put the game at 124 to 121. Dayton missed a three point shot to tie the game as time expired. Battle Creek 124 Dayton 121

  IBL All Star Game
In Battle Creek Michigan, players put on a showcase of shooting, ally-ooping and dunking as the West won the game 159 to 156. Kenny Tate of the Portland Chinooks connected on 9 of 12 three pointers (scored 43 points) to gain the MVP award for this inaugural 2005 IBL All Star Game. For the West Mike Dyson of the Grand Rapids Flight scored 42 points mostly off of ally-oop dunks. Justin Hall of the Macomb County Mustangs came up with 31, Brandon Moore of Windy City had 27 and Ryan Edwards of Windy City chipped in 16 points. James Singleton of the Grand Rapids Flight led the East with 44 points and 11 rebounds while Cameron Nichols of the Macomb County Mustangs scored 38 points. Jason Boucher of Grand Rapids added 30 points and 13 assists.
