#1. Byron Sanford (6'0''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Lithuania) could not help Silute (10-11) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance Silute was defeated 114-109 on the road by the leading Suduva-Mantinga. Sanford was the second best scorer with 23 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 32 minutes. Sanford has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg.
#2. Matt Gamberoni (6'10''-PF-91, graduated '16, plays in Greece) was not able to help Kavala in their game against Ippokratis (6-4) in the Greek A2 (second division). Gamberoni recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The bottom-ranked Kavala lost 63-77 on the opponent's court to the much higher-ranked (#9) Ippokratis. It was Kavala's seventh consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Gamberoni averages 7.8ppg and 4.4rpg in five games he played so far.
