Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Redhawks players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Antonius Cleveland, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from SEMO in 2017 and was awarded All-OVC First Team that year, is currently playing professionally in Russia. In a recent game, he led his Russian team CSKA to a convincing 102-76 victory over the closely-ranked UNICS in the VTB United League. Despite playing only 19 minutes, he managed to contribute significantly with 11 points and 4 rebounds. This game was a highly anticipated matchup between two top 4 ranked teams, with PBC CSKA Moscow holding the top position in the league. The win marked CSKA's impressive tenth consecutive victory in a row. Cleveland's first season with the team has been remarkable, with his recent performance against UNICS highlighting his skills and determination as a champion player. His stat line for the game included 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists, all of which were instrumental in securing the victory for his team. Throughout the current season, Cleveland has been averaging 8.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in the 45 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions have undoubtedly helped elevate his team's performance, making him a key player to watch in the league.
#2. Skyler Hogan, a 28-year-old guard standing at 6'5'' and an alum of Redhawks from 2020, currently playing professionally in Uruguay, showcased a commendable performance in the recent game but could not propel Penarol (26-6) to victory. Despite Hogan's impressive contribution as the top scorer with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in 38 minutes, his team, the first-placed Penarol, suffered a 71-78 loss to the lower-ranked (#3) Aguada in a crucial derby match within the Places 1-6 group. Hogan's consistent performance throughout the game against Aguada highlighted his significant impact on the court. His notable stats for the year include averaging 14.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game across 35 appearances. Despite his individual success, Hogan's team fell short in securing the victory in the challenging matchup.
