#1. Dustin Sleva, a 6'8'' power forward, is a seasoned 30-year-old player who graduated from Shippensburg in 2018 and was awarded the prestigious All-PSAC East Division Player of the Year title in the same year. Currently playing professionally in Lithuania, Sleva recently showcased his skills in a challenging Euroleague match where his team, Zalgiris, faced off against the formidable Fenerbahce. Despite his best efforts, Sleva and his team fell short against the higher-ranked opponent, ultimately losing 74-86 on the road. During the game, Sleva contributed 3 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 18 minutes of play. While it may not have been his most outstanding performance, Sleva's statistics for the season show a consistent level of play, averaging 6.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in the 41 games he has participated in so far. As a newcomer to the team, Sleva continues to adapt and contribute on the court, striving to make a significant impact and help Zalgiris strive for success in future matchups.
#2. Dom Sleva, a former Raiders alumnus from 2023 who stands at 6'6'' and plays as a forward, currently showcases his skills as a professional basketball player in Luxembourg. In a recent game, Sleva, who was honored with the All-PSAC East Division Defensive Player of the Year award in 2023, displayed an exceptional performance despite his team's loss. Despite Sleva's impressive efforts, Mamer, the top-ranked team with a 7-15 record, was defeated 82-87 by the second-ranked Racing in the Play-Out group. During the game, Sleva achieved a double-double by scoring 28 points, securing 14 rebounds, and contributing 5 assists in 40 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is particularly noteworthy as Sleva is only in his third season of professional basketball. Despite Mamer's third consecutive loss, Sleva's individual prowess on the court did not go unnoticed. In fact, his outstanding display earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. As the Play-Out Round progresses, Sleva's team has only one remaining crucial game left to play. Throughout the season, Sleva has maintained high statistical performance, averaging 26.2 points per game (ranking fourth in the league), 15.6 rebounds per game (leading the league), 3.0 assists per game, and 1.5 steals per game in the 25 games he has participated in so far.
#3. Carlos Carter, a 6'6'' guard/forward who graduated from Shippensburg in 2023 and was honored with the All-PSAC East Division Player of the Year award, is currently playing professionally in Germany. Recently, he played a crucial role in Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's triumph over the closely-ranked Artland Dragons with a score of 78-74 in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA. In this matchup, Carter contributed 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist in 22 minutes of play. The victory helped Eisbaeren Bremerhaven, currently ranked fourth in the league with a record of 23-11, to emerge as the champion in the game against Artland Dragons. Throughout the season, Carter has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.6 steals per game in the 34 games he has played so far. His performance on the court has been commendable, showcasing his skills and contributing significantly to his team's success as a champion.
#4. Jake Biss, a 6'2'' guard who is 27 years old and an alumnus of the Raiders from 2022, currently plays professionally in Germany. He received the All-PSAC East Division First Team award in the same year. Biss is a teammate of the aforementioned Carlos Carter and they both play for the same team in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA. In a recent game, Biss played a significant role in Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's victory against the 13th-ranked Tigers with a score of 85-72. Despite only scoring 2 points and making 3 assists in 17 minutes of play, his contribution was valuable. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven, with a record of 23-11, currently holds the fourth position in the league standings. In another game against Tuebingen, Biss scored 2 points, secured 2 rebounds, and provided 3 assists to help his team emerge victorious. His performance was instrumental in guiding his team to success, highlighting his abilities as a champion player. Throughout the current season, Biss has been averaging 5.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in 35 appearances, demonstrating his consistent contribution to the team.
