#1. Experienced Desmond Quincy-Jones (6'7''-PF-85, graduated '08, plays pro in France) led Saint Vallier Basket Drome to a 2-point victory against the 13th-ranked Kaysersberg (3-16) 79-77 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 13 points and blocked 2 blocks in 30 minutes. Saint Vallier Basket Drome (15-4) is placed second in Group B. Quincy-Jones has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.2apg in 18 games he played so far.
#2. Gregory Poleon (6'7''-F-97, graduated '19, plays in United Kingdom) was the major contributor in a Hemel Storm's victory against the tenth-ranked Hoods (5-11) crushing them 125-87 in the British NBL D1 (second division) last Sunday. Poleon recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 5 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Poleon's first season in pro basketball. Hemel Storm (11-3) is placed second in the NBL D1. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Poleon has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.9ppg, 10.9rpg and 1.6apg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3. Callum Jones (6'4''-G-85, graduated '10, currently in United Kingdom), who plays in the British BBL could not help the league outsider Manchester Giants (0-6) to beat Glasgow Rocks (4-2). Jones scored 8 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes. Manchester Giants was crushed92-53on the road by the much higher-ranked (#3) Glasgow Rocks. So far Manchester Giants lost all six games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Jones' eighth year with the team. This season he averages 5.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 3.7apg in three games. Jones is a naturalized British.
#4. Khalil Brown (6'10''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in Iraq) was not able to help Zakho in their game against Al Naft (6-0) in the Iraqi Superleague. His contribution was not very remarkable in Friday's game. Brown recorded only 3 points. Zakho was defeated94-84at home by the leading Al Naft. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season Brown averages 5.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 3.7apg. He is a naturalized Dominican.
