Best performed former Georgetown University players in pro basketball in last week games(11/07/2025)

We bring you last week's top former Hoyas players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Experienced Henry Sims (6'10''-C-1990, played in 2008-12, plays pro in Lebanon) was the major contributor in Maristes' victory against the league outsider Tadamon (0-4) 89-83 in the Lebanese DLBL last Thursday. He had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 10 rebounds in 38 minutes. CS Maristes (2-1) is placed fifth in the DLBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Sims has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.3ppg, 11.7rpg and 3.0apg in three games he played so far.

   #2. Omer Yurtseven (7'0''-C-1998, played in 2018-18, plays in Greece). He could not help Panathinaikos (5-4) to beat Monaco (6-3) in the Euroleague. Yurtseven scored 9 points. But Panathinaikos was defeated 92-84 on the road by the higher-ranked Monaco (#4). But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Yurtseven averages 8.8ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.1apg. He has also Turkish nationality.

   #3. Jamorko Pickett (6'9''-PF-1997, played in 2017-21, currently in Japan), who plays in the Japanese B1 League was not able to help Toyotsu Fighting Eagles Nagoya (4-9) in their last game. Despite Pickett's very good performance the 11th-placed Toyotsu Fighting Eagles Nagoya (4-9) lost 78-88 in Tochigi to the second-ranked Brex in the West group. He was the second best scorer with 20 points. Pickett also added 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 36 minutes. It was Toyotsu Fighting Eagles Nagoya's sixth consecutive loss in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Pickett's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 14.9ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.5apg in 13 games.

   #4. Mikael Hopkins (6'9''-F-1993, played in 2011-15, plays pro in Russia) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Parma-Pari (5-4) in their game against Uralmash (5-4) in the VTB United League. He scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was his first game for Parma-Pari this season. Parma-Pari was edged88-87 at home by the higher-ranked Uralmash (#6). But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Hopkins is a naturalized Hungarian.

   #5. Terrell Allen (6'3''-G-1997, played in 2019-20, plays in Greece) led Lefkadas to a victory against the closely-ranked AEO Proteas Voulas (5-1) 76-65 in the Greek Elite League (second division) on Sunday night. Allen scored 13 points and added 5 passes in 24 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. AE Doxa Lefkadas (5-1) is placed first in the Elite League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Allen's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 10.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.7apg and 1.2spg in six games.

   #6. Jay Heath (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2022-24, currently in Portugal), who plays in the Portuguese Liga Betclic couldn't help Ovarense (3-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Ovarense was defeated 78-64 in Lisbon by the lower-ranked Sporting (#5). Heath recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He has relatively good stats this season 10.8ppg and 3.3rpg.

   #7. Jagan Mosely (6'4''-G-1998, played in 2016-20, plays pro in France) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Vendee Challans 99-83 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday. He scored 11 points and added 4 assists in 27 minutes. Mosely has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.6apg in eight games. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

   #8. Markel Starks (6'2''-PG-1991, played in 2010-14, plays in Greece) couldn't help Panionios in their game against Kolossos HH in the Greek GBL. Despite his good performance last Saturday He scored 11 points and added 4 assists. Starks has relatively good stats this season 10.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 4.5apg.

   #9. Jeff Green (6'9''-F-1986, played in 2004-07, currently in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Boston Celtics crushing them 128-101 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. Green scored 6 points in just 8 minutes. This year he averages 3.0ppg in three games.

   #10. Brandon Bowman (6'9''-F-1984, played in 2002-06, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a 1-point Ashkelon's victory against the league outsider M.Haifa 91-90 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Tuesday. Bowman scored 11 points and blocked 3 blocks. He has relatively good stats this season 13.6ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg.
