Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Here is the weekly review of the top performing Broncos alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Leroy Butts IV (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2020-21, plays pro in the ECBL) led Park City Dreamers to an easy victory against the Goldsboro Wings (3-9) 136-120 in the ECBL last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 10 rebounds. Butts IV also added 3 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Park City Dreamers have rather weak 3-7 record this season. There are only two games left until the end of the ECBL Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Butts IV has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.9apg, 1.4bpg and 1.5spg in 10 games he played so far.
#2. Experienced Tyrrel Tate (6'5''-F-1992, played in 2010-14, plays in Canada) could not help the Ottawa Blackjacks (0-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance the Ottawa Blackjacks (#5) were edged87-85 on the road by the River Lions. Tate recorded 13 points. It was his first game for Ottawa Blackjacks this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
#3. Cress Worthy (6'2''-G, played in 2020-23, currently in the ECBL) led Hickory Hoyas to a victory against the Queen City Vipers (6-5) 118-111 in the ECBL in Sunday night's game. Worthy scored 12 points. The Hickory Hoyas have 7-5 record this season. His team will play only one more game in the ECBL Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Worthy's first year with the team. This season Worthy averages 7.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.9apg and 1.2spg in nine games.
#4. Will Brown (7'0''-C-1997, played in 2018-20, plays pro in the TBL) managed to help Capital Seahwaks to win against the Frederick Flying Cows (19-3) 112-104 in the TBL last Friday. He recorded only 2 points. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group Mid-Atlantic. The Capital Seahwaks have a solid 14-6 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Brown averages 7.3ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg.
