Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC We bring you last week's top former Blue Devils players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Look at great performance of Jabari Parker (19 points), Jared McCain (13 points), and Matt Hurt (12 points).
#1. Jabari Parker, a 6'8'' power forward, is a seasoned 31-year-old professional basketball player who graduated from Duke University in 2014 and received the prestigious All-ACC Freshman of the Year award that same year. Currently playing for a team in Spain, Parker recently showcased his skills in a game where his team, Club Joventut Badalona, faced off against Basquet Girona. Despite his exceptional performance, scoring 19 points in just 20 minutes, Joventut ultimately fell short and lost 77-82 on the road to the lower-ranked Basquet Girona, who held the 12th spot. This defeat marked Club Joventut Badalona's first loss after securing five consecutive victories, making every remaining game crucial as they approach the end of the Regular Season. Parker's noteworthy contributions in the game included not only his impressive scoring but also 3 rebounds and 2 assists, highlighting his versatility on the court. Throughout the current season, Parker has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game over the course of 14 games played so far.
#2. Jared McCain, a 6'3'' shooting guard who is a 22-year-old Blue Devils alumni from 2024 and received the All-ACC Honorable Mention award that year, is currently playing professionally in the NBA. In a recent game, McCain, in his first season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, was unable to help his team secure a victory against the San Antonio Spurs, as they were defeated 118-91. Despite his commendable performance, where he scored 13 points and made 6 assists in 27 minutes of play, the OKC Thunder couldn't overcome the strong opposition. Throughout the season, McCain has been a consistent performer for the team, averaging 10.3 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game in the 45 games he has played so far. Despite the team's challenging season, McCain has shown his skills on the court, establishing himself as a key player for the Thunder.
#3. Matt Hurt, a 6'9'' power forward who graduated from Duke in 2021 and was awarded the All-ACC Most Improved Player of the Year, currently plays professionally in Slovenia. In a recent game, he led Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana to a thrilling 90-89 victory over the league leader Krka (26-1) in the Slovenian Liga OTP banka. Despite his team being at the bottom of the group standings, Hurt's stellar performance shone through as he contributed 12 points and 2 rebounds in just 24 minutes of play. His impressive display not only helped secure the win but also highlighted his skills as a true champion on the court. Throughout the season, Hurt has maintained high statistics, averaging 16.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game in five appearances. His consistent performance and valuable contributions make him a standout finalist in the league.

He graduated from Maryland in 2016 but previously played for Duke University from 2012 to 2015. Currently, he is playing professionally in Montenegro. In a recent game in the AdmiralBet ABA League, Sulaimon's team, Buducnost with a record of 18-6, faced off against Dubai, who held a strong 21-3 record.
