#1. Jeremy McLaughlin, a 6'8'' power forward aged 31, graduated from Catawba in 2019 and was instrumental in helping them become the champion of the SAC Tournament that year. Currently playing professionally in New Zealand, McLaughlin recently suited up for the struggling Hawkes Bay Hawks (2-8) against Tauranga (3-6) in the New Zealand National Basketball League. Despite his solid contribution of 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks in just 20 minutes of play, the Hawks were unable to overcome Tauranga, ultimately falling short with a score of 94-88 on the road. This defeat marked the third consecutive loss for the bottom-ranked Hawkes Bay Hawks. In a notable individual effort against Whai, McLaughlin showcased his skills by scoring 8 points and securing 7 rebounds. Nevertheless, his standout performance was not enough to secure a victory for his team. Throughout the season, McLaughlin has maintained relatively strong statistics with an average of 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game.
