#1. Jordan Semple (6'7''-F-1992, played in 2011-15, plays pro in Iceland) could not help Thor Thorl (15-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Thor Thorl was edged98-97 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Njardvik. Semple had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 7 assists and 5 blocks in 36 minutes. Semple has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.7ppg, 11.2rpg, 4.3apg, 1.8bpg and 1.8spg in 27 games he played so far. Semple is a naturalized French.
#2. Justin Briggs (6'10''-C-1997, played in 2015-15, plays in Israel) was not able to help Hapoel Afula (10-14) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Briggs' very good performance Hapoel Afula was badly defeated90-73 in Kiryat Ata by the higher-ranked Kiryat Ata (#6). He recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 12 rebounds. Briggs' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Briggs has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.1bpg.
#3. Keith Datu (6'7''-F-1996, graduated '2020, currently in Philippines) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked NLEX RW (5-5) 120-104 in the Filipino PBA in Friday night's game. Datu scored 6 points in 16 minutes. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (6-5) are placed fourth in the PBA. The Regular Season already ended. It's Datu's first season with the team. This year he averages 5.8ppg and 3.5rpg in four games. Datu is a naturalized Filipino.
#4. Isaiah Ellis (6'8''-C/F-1995, played in 2014-13, plays pro in Georgia) led Kavkasia to a 1-point victory against the 14th-ranked TSU (1-21) 99-98 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague last Sunday. Ellis scored 13 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and made 4 blocks. BC Kavkasia Tbilisi (9-11) is placed seventh in the Superleague. Ellis has relatively good stats this season 12.2ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.5bpg.
