Columbus Vipers clinch 2024 Winter Season title-Apr 1, 2024
The “National Championship”Game was nothing shy of exciting! The #1 team from the Southeast Conference going head to head with the #1 team from the MidAtlantic Conference. Trained to Eat from Nashville, Tennessee and the Columbus Ga Vipers left it all on the court as they played with a common goal of winning the National Championship. At the half, the score was Vipers 43 TTE 37. As both teams took the floor in the 3rd quarter, the Vipers turned their in your face defense up a notch and took a commanding lead, ending the period 80 to 61. The 4th quarter belonged to Cortez “The Floor General” Chaney who had only 16 points over 3 periods, caught fire dropping 22 points in that period. Chaney’s offensive and defensive talent sealed the fate of TTE along with the rest of his Viper teammates. It was the Vipers 117 and Trained To Eat 92 that resulted In the Columbus Ga Vipers being named the PBA By A&T Sports Winter Champions This championship made the Vipers Back to Back National Champions and closing out a Perfect Season!
