play-Offs - April 9, 2002
In their first season in the CBA the Dakota Wizards
defeated the Rockford Lightning 116-109 in the one game CBA championship
before a packed Rockford MetroCentre crowd of 7,201. Newcomer of the
Year and regular season MVP Miles Simon picked up more hardware earning
Playoff Most Valuable Player honors for his team high 19.5 points in
four playoff games.

CBA Play-Offs - April 4, 2002
The Championship match-up for the 2001/2002 CBA season is
now set. The Dakota Wizards will play the Rockford Lightening, in
Rockford, on April 6th. The Wizards advanced to the final series by
sweeping the Fargo-Moorhead Beez via winning three straight games in the
best-of-five series. The Lightening advanced after losing only the first
game to Sioux Falls in their best-of-five series.

Play-Offs Semifinals - April 1, 2002
The CBA is currently conducting it's post-season
play-offs. The top two teams (determined by average quarter points won)
of each four-team division qualified for the play-offs. Representing the
American Conference is the Rockford Lightening and the Sioux Falls
Skyforce. The National Conference is represented by the Dakota Wizards
and the Fargo-Moorhead Beez. The following games are in a best of five
series. The series stand as such:

Dakota leads Fargo-Moorhead 2-0
The first game of the Sioux Falls/Rockford series was played in

The second game of the Dakota/F-M series was played in Bismark. The
Wizards gave their fans a thrill with another to-the-wire game. Details

The first game of the Dakota/F-M series was played in Fargo due to the
fact that Dakota's home court had a scheduling conflict. Dakota pulled
out the game in true play-off fashion with a last minute win. Details
