In this highly anticipated matchup between two top 4 ranked teams, Trimble's exceptional performance earned him the title of MVP of the game. The thrilling encounter saw Trimble scoring an impressive 28 points and making 4 crucial assists in just 28 minutes of play. This victory marked CSKA Moscow's tenth consecutive win, further solidifying their position as the top team in the league with a record of 37-3. Trimble's stellar contribution, scoring prowess, and playmaking abilities were instrumental in securing the win for his team in this pivotal game. His remarkable display of talent and determination exemplified why he is a champion. Individually, Trimble has been having an outstanding season, consistently putting up high statistics. He currently averages 18.9 points per game (the second-best in the league), along with 2.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game (the fourth-best in the league). Trimble's impressive performance both as a scorer and a playmaker underscores his status as a finalist in the league, showcasing his immense value to his team and his prowess on the basketball court.

#2. Angolan Bruno Fernando, a 6'10'' center and 27-year-old Terrapins alumnus from 2019 who received the All-Big Ten First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Serbia. In the recent game, despite his standout performance, Fernando couldn't prevent Partizan (21-3) from suffering a defeat of 86-81 on the road against the top-ranked Dubai team. Fernando displayed his skills by leading his team in scoring with 16 points, securing 7 rebounds, and contributing 2 blocks in just 22 minutes of play. His impressive individual performance wasn't enough to secure a victory for Partizan. Throughout the season, Fernando has been maintaining solid averages of 9.8 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, and 1.1 blocks per game, which ranks him as the fourth-best shot blocker in the league.

#3. Donta Scott, a 6'8'' forward who graduated from Maryland in 2024 and received an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award that same year, currently plays professionally in France for Nanterre 92. In a recent game against Monaco, despite his outstanding performance, Nanterre 92 (21-9) was unable to secure a victory, ultimately falling 89-78 on the opponent's court. Scott showcased his skills by scoring an impressive 22 points in just 28 minutes of gameplay, making him the top scorer of the match. Alongside his scoring prowess, he also contributed 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Despite his efforts, the team was unable to overcome Monaco's strong performance. Throughout the season, Scott has maintained relatively good statistics, averaging 11.3 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game. His dedication and talent on the court make him a key player for Nanterre 92 as they strive to achieve success in their league.

#4. Jordan Geronimo, a 6'6'' forward and 24-year-old Terrapins alumnus from 2025, made an impactful debut in professional basketball in the Dominican Republic League. His stellar performance led the Metros to a 92-86 victory over the fifth-ranked Heroes, earning him the title of MVP of the game. Despite it being his first season in the pros, Geronimo showcased his skills by scoring 20 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, dishing out 4 assists, and blocking 2 shots in 35 minutes of play. His contribution was instrumental in securing the win for the Metros, who currently hold the second position in the Places 1-6 group with a record of 15-5. Geronimo's impressive stats this season include averaging 10.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game. Notably, he holds dual American and Dominican Republic citizenship, allowing him to compete as a domestic player in the Dominican Republic league. With his exceptional performance and valuable contributions to the Metros, Jordan Geronimo is proving himself to be a true champion on the court, showcasing his potential to make a significant impact in the league as he continues to excel in his professional basketball career.

#5. Eric Ayala, a 6'6'' guard/forward who graduated from Maryland in 2022 and received an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention award that year, currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico. Despite his strong performance, he was unable to assist the Mets de Guaynabo in their recent game last Wednesday. The Guaynabo team, currently in fourth place with a record of 12-14, suffered a 104-89 defeat against the second-ranked Criollos in the Group B, despite Ayala's contribution of 13 points and 2 assists in 31 minutes of play. Ayala's impressive skills were on display during the game against Caguas, where he showcased his scoring ability with 13 points and playmaking with 2 assists. However, his individual efforts were not enough to secure a victory for his team. Throughout this season, Ayala has been averaging 5.9 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. It is notable that Ayala holds both American and Puerto Rican citizenship, allowing him to play in Puerto Rico as a domestic player, which provides him with valuable opportunities to showcase his talent in the professional league.

#6. Anthony Cowan Jr., a 6'0'' point guard and 28-year-old Terrapins alumnus from 2020, played a crucial role in helping his team become Big Ten Regular Season Co-Champion that year. Currently playing professionally in Puerto Rico, he recently competed for Piratas de Quebradillas in a match against Atleticos. Despite Cowan Jr.'s best efforts, scoring 6 points in 21 minutes, his team suffered a 97-88 defeat. In another game against San German, Cowan Jr. displayed an impressive performance, contributing 6 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists. However, despite his notable efforts, his team was unable to secure a victory. Throughout this season, Cowan Jr. has been averaging 7.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

#7. Xavier Green, a 6'6'' forward who graduated from Maryland in 2022 and currently plays professionally in New Zealand, recently showcased his skills for the Taranaki Airs. In a match against Tuatara, despite his valiant efforts, Green could not propel his team to victory. He displayed his talent by scoring 8 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists in 24 minutes of gameplay. Unfortunately, the Taranaki Airs suffered a tough loss, falling short by 21 points with a final score of 90-69. Despite the defeat, Green's individual performance was commendable, with notable averages of 15.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game throughout the season. As a skilled player, Green continues to make significant contributions to his team, aiming to lead them to success as a champion in the future.

#8. Donald Carey, a 6'5'' guard and 26-year-old Terrapins alum from 2023, showcased his skills playing professionally in Canada. In a recent game, despite his solid performance, Carey could not propel the Niagara River Lions (3-5) to victory as they faced the Hamilton Honey Badgers. The Niagara, ranked fifth, suffered a 97-86 defeat. Carey contributed 13 points and 5 assists in 34 minutes of play. His notable display included scoring 13 points, securing 3 rebounds, and distributing 5 assists in a previous matchup against Brampton. Despite his commendable efforts, his team fell short in securing a win. Throughout the season, Carey has maintained respectable statistics, averaging 12.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
