Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC We bring you last week's top former Pioneers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Nick Demusis (6'4''-F-1991, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Philippines) managed to help Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in a victory against the closely-ranked NLEX RW (2-5) 113-101 in the Filipino PBA in Friday night's game. He scored only 2 points in 13 minutes. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (2-5) are placed ninth in the PBA. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Demusis averages 2.7ppg in seven games he played so far. He is a naturalized Filipino.
#2. Andrea Lo Biondo (6'9''-F-1998, played in 2017-18, plays in Italy) was the major contributor in a Livorno Pielle's victory against the 16th-ranked Salerno (4-10) 80-70 in the Italian Serie B Nazionale (third division) last Wednesday. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Lo Biondo's third season in pro basketball. Caffe Toscano Pielle Livorno (10-4) is placed fourth in Group A. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Lo Biondo has relatively good stats this season 11.6ppg, 6.6rpg and 2.4apg.
