Every week we bring you a list of the top former Cardinals players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Keondre Kennedy (8 points), Armond Williams (14 points), and Bryson Dennis (18 points).

#1. Keondre Kennedy, a 6'6'' guard/forward, is a 26-year-old professional basketball player who graduated from UNCG in 2023. Before his time at UNCG, he showcased his talent at Labette CC, where he received the prestigious All-KJCCC D2 Freshman of the Year award in 2019. Currently, Kennedy is playing professionally in Greece. In a recent game, Kennedy and his team, Kolossos, faced Maroussi in the Greek Stoiximan Basketball League. Despite Kennedy's solid performance of scoring 8 points and grabbing 2 rebounds in 24 minutes of play, Kolossos was unable to secure a victory, ultimately losing 93-108 on the road to Maroussi. This defeat marked Kolossos' third consecutive loss in a row. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, Kennedy knows that the upcoming match will be crucial for his team. Throughout the season, Kennedy has been averaging 9.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the seven games he has played so far. As a dedicated champion, Kennedy continues to give his all on the court, aiming to lead his team to success despite the challenges they face.

#2. Armond Williams, a 6'9'' forward/center and a Bleu Devils alum from 2025, previously played at Labette CC from 2021 to 2022 before turning professional in the TBL. In the recent game, Williams, despite his commendable effort, could not lift the struggling Little Rock Lightning (4-6) to a win. The team suffered a crushing 127-99 defeat at the hands of the Ads Sentinels, marking their fourth consecutive loss. Williams showcased his potential by scoring 14 points and securing 4 rebounds in 33 minutes of play, a notable performance considering he is in his inaugural season in professional basketball. Despite his individual contributions, the Lightning fell short against the Ads Sentinels. Throughout the season, Williams has maintained solid statistics, averaging 15.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.0 blocks (the second-best in the league), and 1.1 steals per game across nine appearances. As a promising talent in the league, Williams continues to demonstrate his skills despite the challenges faced by his team.

#3. Bryson Dennis, a 6'1'' guard who graduated from Claflin in 2024, honed his skills at Labette CC from 2019 to 2022, where he received the All-KJCCC D2 Third Team award. Currently playing professionally in the USBL, Dennis recently showcased his talent by leading the Seattle Super Hawks to a decisive 103-90 victory over the Spokane Lilac City Legends (1-10) in a recent game. In this matchup, Dennis displayed his prowess on the court by scoring 18 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and distributing 3 assists during his 40 minutes of play. It is noteworthy that this is only Dennis' second season in professional basketball. The Seattle Super Hawks have maintained a dominant 11-0 record this season, winning all eleven games in the Regular Season. Dennis' performance against Spokane was stellar, with him contributing significantly to his team's triumph and earning the title of the champion of the game. His impressive season statistics include averaging 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists (ranking third best in the league), and 2.6 steals per game across seven games. Dennis continues to prove himself as a standout player in the league and an asset to the Seattle Super Hawks as they strive for success in the USBL.

#4. Virgil Lackey, a towering 6'9'' power forward at 26 years old, is an alumni of the Harriers class of 2021. Despite having played for Labette CC from 2017 to 2019, he now showcases his talents as a professional player in the TBL. In a recent derby match, Lackey proved instrumental in the Grove City Whitetails' triumph over the Columbus Wizards with a score of 101-95. During the game, Lackey displayed his versatility on the court by contributing 7 points, securing 7 rebounds, and distributing 4 assists, all within a span of 26 minutes. His impact was undeniable as he played a crucial role in leading his team to victory, highlighting his prowess as a finalist player. Despite the Whitetails' challenging 2-10 record this season, Lackey's consistent performance stands out. With notable averages of 11.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game over 11 matches, Lackey continues to demonstrate his capabilities as a champion player in the league.
