#1. Experienced Jarmar Gulley (6'5''-SF-1991, played in 2009-10, plays pro in China) led Zhejiang Golden Bulls to a victory over the closely-ranked Sharks (32-20) crushing them 111-82 in the Chinese CBA last Monday. He was MVP of the game. Gulley scored 24 points, grabbed 6 boards, passed 7 assists and added 3 steals (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) in 20 minutes. Zhejiang Golden Bulls (41-11) are placed third in the CBA. It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row. Gulley has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.9apg and 1.7spg in 49 games he played so far.
#2. Phil Henry (6'8''-F-1991, played in 2010-12, plays in Bulgaria) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Beroe (9-23) crushing them 125-92 in the Bulgarian NBL on Tuesday night. Henry recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. Akademik Plovdiv (14-18) is placed third in Places 7-12 group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. The Second Stage already ended. It's Henry's first season with the team. Henry has relatively good stats this year 13.5ppg and 4.3rpg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.
#3. Rashon Johnson (6'6''-G/F-1999, played in 2018-20, currently in Azerbaijan), who plays in the Azerbaijani ABL could not help Jalilabad (5-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Jalilabad lost 84-90 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Xirdalan. Johnson had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 40 minutes. It was Jalilabad's fifth consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Johnson's first season with the team. Johnson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.3spg in 17 games.
#4. Luiz Machado Jr. (6'7''-F-1998, played in 2018-19, plays pro in Brazil) was not able to help U.Corinthians in their game against Minas (28-8) in the Brazilian NBB. Despite his very good performance on Tuesday night He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Machado Jr. also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It's Machado Jr.'s first season with the team. This year he averages 6.0ppg and 2.0rpg. Machado Jr. is a naturalized Brazilian.
