Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC We bring you last week's top former Broncos players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Riley Lupfer, a standout champion basketball player standing at 5'9'' and a graduate of Boise State in 2020, made significant contributions to her team's victory in the MWC Tournament during that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Lupfer recently competed for the Nunawading Spectres (5-9) in the Australian NBL One North, which is the second division of the league. In a challenging match against the Tigers (7-6), who held the 10th position in the South group, Lupfer showcased her skills by scoring 7 points in 32 minutes of play. Despite her commendable performance, the Nunawading Spectres, positioned 13th in the league, suffered an 80-66 defeat on the road, marking their third consecutive loss. In a game against Melbourne T., Lupfer displayed her talent by contributing 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Although she delivered an impressive performance, her team was unable to secure a victory. Throughout the season, Lupfer has maintained solid statistics, averaging 14.9 points per game, along with 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
#2. In the recent Australian NBL One North match, New Zealand's talented player Gabriella Fotu, a 30-year-old champion and former Broncos alumna from 2016, who currently plays professionally in Australia, unfortunately could not lead her team, the Albury Wodonga Lady Bandits, to victory against the Hawks. Despite her efforts, where she scored 3 points and made 3 steals in 19 minutes of play, the Lady Bandits (6-6) were defeated 70-66 by the Hawks (#9) in the East group. This loss marked the first defeat for the eighth-placed Lady Bandits after a successful streak of three consecutive wins. Fotu did showcase her skills in another game against Illawarra H, where she scored 3 points and grabbed 2 rebounds. However, her individual performance was not enough to secure a win for her team, the Lady Bandits. Throughout this season, Fotu has been averaging 3.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, demonstrating her consistent contribution to the team despite the recent setback.
#3. Trista Hull, a talented basketball player who stands at 6'2'' and previously played for Boise State between 2021 and 2024 before graduating from Portland in 2025, recently showcased her skills in a game for the Kalamunda Eastern Suns. Despite her impressive performance, the team, currently ranked 12th with a 3-8 record, fell short against the Hawks (#10) in the West group, losing 76-66 in Floreat. During the game, Hull displayed her prowess on the court by recording a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. Her outstanding performance against the Perry Lakes Hawks further highlighted her abilities, where she once again scored 11 points and secured 12 rebounds. Despite her remarkable efforts, the Kalamunda Eastern Suns were unable to secure a victory in that match. Despite the team's challenges, Hull's exceptional individual season performance stands out with impressive averages of 15.8 points per game, 13.8 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists per game, and 1.3 blocks per game. Her outstanding contributions on the court have rightfully earned her the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, solidifying her reputation as a true champion in the sport.
