They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fire made 11 blocks. 41 personal fouls committed by Griffins helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Deshawn Munson (193-1995, college: Harris-Stowe St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Swingman Ricardo Artis II (198-1993, college: Wiley) contributed with 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners. Artis II is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Marcus Latham (191-1998, college: Indianapolis) replied with 28 points and point guard NiSean Rigmaiden (183-1996) added 11 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Griffins. Four Fire and five Griffins players scored in double figures. Griffins' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
