Miami Midnites won 2016 FBA Championship defending their title. They overcame Space Coast 126-108 in the Final game. Miami started with a 34-18 surge and led 64-51 at the halftime with Deric Hill (5'9''-PG-93, college: Barry) and Ty Thomas (6'6''-F-83, college: Concordia-St.Paul) having 11 points each at that time. Miami Midnites had a 92-79 lead after three quarters and increased the victory to 18 points at the end.
In the semifinals Miami overcame Palm Beach 111-95, while Space Coast outscored Florida Flight 95-74.
