#1. Hunter Hale, a 6'4'' guard who graduated from Winthrop in 2020, has been excelling in his first season playing professionally in Turkey. Recently, he showcased his skills in a game against Trabzonspor, where he helped Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul secure a convincing 94-78 victory. Despite only playing 19 minutes, Hale managed to contribute significantly by scoring 10 points, grabbing 1 rebound, and dishing out 2 assists. This stellar performance earned him recognition as a true champion on the court, solidifying his place as a key player for his team. Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul currently holds the third position in the league, with a record of 21-9. Hale's impressive statistics throughout the season, averaging 11.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in the 29 games he has played so far, highlight his valuable contribution to the team's success. As a finalist in the All-Big South Conference and a recipient of the All-Tournament MVP award in his final year at Winthrop, Hale continues to demonstrate his talent and determination in the professional basketball arena.
