Every week we bring you a list of the top former Cardinals players who continue their career in pro basketball.
Notice impressive performance of Anderson Mirambeaux (26 points), Jaquan Lightfoot (14 points), and Mouhamed Mbaye (24 points).



   #1. Dominican Republic's Anderson Mirambeaux, a 6'8'' forward at 26 years old, graduated from Miami, OH in 2024. Prior to that, he played for Trinity Valley between 2019 and 2021, where he helped lead them to the final of the NJCAA D1 Mid-South District. Currently, he is playing professionally in the Dominican Republic for Reales. In their recent game, despite Mirambeaux's standout performance, Reales (1-1) suffered a close 95-99 defeat on the road against the second-ranked Indios. Mirambeaux emerged as the top scorer of the game with 26 points in just 25 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is even more noteworthy as it was his first game for Reales this season, showcasing his talent and potential in his second season of professional basketball. Although the team did not secure the win, Mirambeaux's contribution was significant, demonstrating his skills and impact on the court. As the season is still in its early stages, there is room for development and improvement for Mirambeaux and the team. Despite the initial loss, with Mirambeaux's impressive display and determination, there is optimism for Reales as they progress through the season.

   #2. Jaquan Lightfoot, a 6'8'' forward and Blackhawks alumnus from 2019, who also played at Trinity Valley between 2016 and 2018, showcased his skills in a recent game where he led Zonkeys de Tijuana to a 90-83 victory over the closely-ranked Toros in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacífico. In this exciting matchup, Lightfoot demonstrated his prowess by achieving a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, along with contributing 2 blocks in 34 minutes of play. Zonkeys de Tijuana, currently holding the fourth position in the league with a record of 16-12, benefited greatly from Lightfoot's stellar performance. His remarkable display on the court earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, solidifying his reputation as a champion player. Throughout the season, Lightfoot has maintained an impressive average of 9.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in the 25 games he has participated in so far. With his consistent contributions and leadership, Lightfoot continues to make a significant impact for his team as they strive for success in the league.

   #3. Senegalese Mouhamed Mbaye, a talented 6'10'' forward who graduated from Trinity Valley in 2024, has been making waves in the professional basketball scene in Taiwan. Recently, he played a crucial role in leading the Taipei Fubon Braves to a narrow 91-89 victory over YKE in the Taiwanese P. League+. This victory was a significant achievement considering YKE's outsider status in the league. In this game, Mbaye showcased his exceptional skills and was named the MVP after scoring an impressive 24 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and making 2 blocks in 35 minutes of play. Despite being only in his second season of professional basketball, Mbaye's performance was pivotal in securing the win for his team. The game was a highly anticipated match-up between two top 4 ranked teams in the league, further highlighting Mbaye's impact as a standout player. With this win, Taipei Fubon Braves secured their third consecutive victory, positioning themselves better in the league standings. Currently ranked second from the bottom (#3) in the league, every game is crucial for the team as they aim to finish the Regular Season strong. Mbaye's exceptional year is reflected in his impressive season statistics, averaging 15.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game, the second-best in the league. His consistent performance on the court has solidified his reputation as a top player in the league. It is noteworthy that Mbaye holds both American and Senegalese citizenship, allowing him the flexibility to play as a domestic player in Senegal if he chooses to do so. With his talent and determination, Mbaye continues to excel in the professional basketball scene, proving himself as a true champion and a force to be reckoned with on the court.

   #4. Darry Moore, a 24-year-old former Tigers alumni from 2024, showcased his skills in Trinity Valley between 2019 and 2021 before progressing to play professionally in Argentina. Despite his best efforts, Moore, now a pro player, was unable to lead Quilmes to victory against Lanus in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina, the second division league. In a recent match, Moore contributed significantly by scoring 8 points and securing 5 rebounds in just 19 minutes of play. Despite his impressive individual performance, Quilmes, currently in sixth place with a record of 20-12, fell short against the third-ranked Lanus, losing 72-86 in Buenos Aires in the Conferencia Sur. Throughout the season, Moore has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.7 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game across the 36 games he has participated in so far. Despite the recent loss, Moore's consistent performance highlights his potential as a standout player in the league.

   #5. Spanish basketball player Ruslan Alogo-Evuna, a 6'1'' guard who graduated from Trinity Valley in 2023, is currently playing professionally in Spain. In a recent game, he led Badajoz Vitaly to a resounding victory over the third-ranked Navas with a score of 103-77 in the Spanish Tercera FEB league, which is the fourth division. Alogo-Evuna's exceptional performance earned him the MVP title of the game, as he achieved a double-double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Additionally, he contributed 5 assists and 3 steals within just 22 minutes of play. This game was a highly anticipated matchup between two of the top 3 teams in Group D-B, with Vitaly La Mar BC Badajoz (23-3) currently holding the top position. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, Alogo-Evuna's upcoming performance will be crucial for his team. Despite this being Alogo-Evuna's first season with the team, he showcased his skills and talent by delivering an impressive performance against Navas. His remarkable display on the court led to him receiving the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, highlighting his all-around contribution to the game. Alogo-Evuna's stellar performance demonstrates the qualities of a champion, solidifying his status as a standout player in the league. Throughout the season, Alogo-Evuna has maintained strong averages of 9.7 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game in the 26 games he has participated in so far.

   #6. Leon Gilmore III, a 6'7'' power forward who is a 30-year-old alumnus of the Lumberjacks from 2018, showcased his talent in a recent game in the Indonesian Basketball League. Despite having played for Trinity Valley between 2015 and 2016, where he contributed to their NJCAA D1 District XIV champion title, Gilmore III now plays professionally in Indonesia. In a recent game, Gilmore III led Satya Wacana to a hard-fought victory over the third-ranked Borneo with a final score of 77-75. His impressive performance included scoring 14 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, dishing out 7 assists, and adding 2 blocks throughout the 40-minute game. His exceptional contributions were crucial in securing the win for his team, ultimately leading them to emerge as the champion. This season, Gilmore III has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.5 points per game, 9.0 rebounds per game, 6.8 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game in the six games he has played so far. His consistent performance on the court has undoubtedly played a significant role in his team's success, making him a key player to watch in the league.

   #7. Colombian basketball player Yildon Mendoza, a 6'9'' forward who is 29 years old, graduated from Angelo St. in 2019 after playing for Trinity Valley between 2016 and 2018. During his time at Trinity Valley, he played a pivotal role in helping them win the NJCAA D1 Region 14 North Division Regular Season Co-Champion title. Currently, Mendoza is playing professionally in Colombia. In a recent game, Mendoza led his team, Caimanes, to a hard-fought 81-76 victory over the closely-ranked Piratas in the Colombian LBP. His outstanding performance earned him the MVP title of the game, as he achieved a double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds, along with contributing 3 blocks in just 29 minutes of play. Mendoza's exceptional display of skill against the Piratas not only secured the win for his team but also earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further establishing his reputation as a champion on the court. Throughout the season, Mendoza has consistently delivered impressive individual performances, leading the league in scoring with an average of 24.0 points per game, ranking second in rebounds with 12.0 per game, and leading the league in blocks with 2.5 per game. His stellar stats highlight his impact on the court and reinforce his status as a finalist in the league.

   #8. Colombian player Andres Ibarguen, standing tall at 6'7'' and 30 years old, is a former Rams alumnus from 2020. Although he played for Trinity Valley between 2016 and 2018, he notably helped them secure the NJCAA D1 Region 14 North Division Regular Season Co-Champion title during his time there. Currently, Ibarguen is showcasing his talent as a professional player in Uruguay. In a recent game, Ibarguen played a crucial role in Penarol's triumph over the second-ranked Aguada with a score of 103-95 in a highly anticipated derby match in the Uruguayan Liga Uruguaya de Basquetbol. During the game, he exhibited stellar performance by scoring 19 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in just 21 minutes of play. His exceptional performance against Aguada not only highlighted his skills but also played a pivotal role in his team's success, ultimately leading them to victory. Ibarguen's impressive stats for the year stand at 13.2 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game in 26 games, showcasing his consistent contribution to his team's performance throughout the season. As a true champion, Ibarguen continues to demonstrate his talent and leadership on the court, making significant contributions to his team's success.

   #9. Da'Jah Daniel, a 6'4'' center who is 27 years old, graduated from GCU in 2020 but previously played for Trinity Valley between 2016 and 2018, where she helped lead them to the final of the NJCAA Division I in 2018. Currently playing professionally in Mexico, Daniel recently faced a tough loss with her team, the Freseras (2-10), who were defeated 85-61 at home by the second-ranked Adelitas. In the game against Adelitas, Daniel showcased her skills by scoring 11 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and contributing 1 assist in 30 minutes of play. Despite her strong performance, Freseras was unable to secure the win and suffered a loss on their home court. Throughout the season, Daniel has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game, ranking her as the fourth-best shot blocker in the league. Her consistent contributions on the court demonstrate her value as a key player for her team, even in the face of challenging matchups.

   #10. Wendell Mitchell, a 6'3'' guard and 29-year-old Aggies alumnus from the class of 2020, previously played at Trinity Valley between 2018 and 2018. During his time at Trinity Valley, he played a key role in helping them win the NJCAA D1 Region 14 North Division Regular Season Co-Champion title. Currently, he is playing professionally in Poland. In a recent game, Mitchell unfortunately could not lead Leszno to victory as they lost 79-93 against the higher-ranked (#3) Lodz on the opponent's court. Mitchell, however, displayed an outstanding performance by scoring 17 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists in 34 minutes of play. Throughout the season, Mitchell has been excelling individually with impressive statistics. He currently leads the league in scoring with an average of 22.6 points per game. In addition to his scoring prowess, he is averaging 4.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.2 steals per game across 27 games played. Despite his remarkable individual achievements, Mitchell's team has faced challenges in securing victories.
