Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Raiders players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Kinyon Hodges (6'2''-G, played in 2019-22, plays pro in Iceland) led Haukar to a victory over the closely-ranked Thor AK (4-0) crushing them 110-68 in the Icelandic Division I (second division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Hodges scored 25 points, grabbed 9 boards, passed 7 assists and added 6 steals in 23 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Haukar Hafnarfjordur (5-0) is placed second in the Division I. So far his team won all five games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Hodges' first year with the team. Hodges has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 4.4apg and 4.6spg.
#2. Jonathan Ninkingira (6'6''-F-1999, played in 2020-22, plays in Sweden). He could not help Sloga Uppsala (2-8) to beat BC Lulea (7-3) in the Swedish Basketligan. Ninkingira scored 7 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks. The bottom-ranked Sloga Uppsala lost 71-85 at home to the much higher-ranked (#3) BC Lulea. It was Sloga Uppsala's fourth consecutive loss in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Ninkingira's first year with the team. This season he averages 7.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.2apg in 10 games he played so far.
#3. Justas Furmanavicius (6'7''-F-1994, played in 2014-16, currently in Poland) managed to help Anwil Wloclawek to win against the 11th-ranked Start (2-4) 90-81 in the Polish OBL last Saturday. Furmanavicius scored only 3 points in 12 minutes. Anwil Wloclawek (3-3) is placed seventh in the OBL. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Furmanavicius averages 4.0ppg.
#4. Erin Bollmann (5'11''-F-1994, played in 2012-14, plays pro in New Zealand) was not able to help the league outsider Northern Kahu in their game against Hoiho (5-4) in the New Zealand Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa. He recorded 9 points and added 3 assists (made all of his five free throws). It was his first game for Northern Kahu this season. But the bottom-ranked Northern Kahu lost 59-73 on the road to the one of league's weakest teams (#4) Hoiho. So far Northern Kahu lost all eight games in the Regular Season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Bollmann's first year with the team.
