#1. Landry Shamet, a 6'4'' point guard aged 29, who graduated from Wichita State in 2018 and received the All-AAC First Team award that year, currently plays professionally in the NBA. In a recent game, Shamet was unable to assist the New York Knicks (54-29) in defeating the San Antonio Spurs (62-21) in the NBA. Despite putting on an impressive performance, scoring 3 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and providing 2 assists in 24 minutes of play, Shamet and the Knicks fell short and were defeated 115-111 on the road by the Spurs. This loss marked the New York Knicks' first defeat after a streak of five consecutive victories. Although Shamet's individual statistics for the season are decent, with an average of 8.5 points per game, 1.6 rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game, the game against the Spurs was not one of his standout performances. Nonetheless, Shamet's contributions on the court demonstrate his skills and dedication as a professional basketball player in the NBA.
