Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former General Dunker players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Kendall Robinson (6'6''-G-1998, played in 2018-20, plays pro in Romania) led Craiova to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Targu Jiu (0-8) crushing them 97-54 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Monday. He recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 25 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Robinson's third season in pro basketball. SCM CSU Craiova (2-0) is placed first in the Liga Nationala. Robinson has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.8apg, 2.2bpg and 1.7spg in six games he played so far.
#2. Experienced David Haughton (6'7''-C-1991, played in 2010-12, plays in Bulgaria) contributed to Botev's victory against the closely-ranked Lokomotiv Plovdiv (2-3) 79-73 in the Bulgarian NBL on Sunday night. Haughton scored 6 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Botev 2012 (2-3) is placed seventh in the NBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Haughton's first year with the team. This season he averages 9.2ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.4apg.
#3. Cleanthony Early (6'7''-F-1991, played in 2010-12, currently in Colombia) contributed to Paisas' victory against the closely-ranked Sabios (7-5) 95-85 in the Colombian LBP in Tuesday night's game. He recorded 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in 32 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Los Paisas de Medellin (9-3) is placed second in the LBP. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This year Early averages 9.6ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.4apg in five games.
#4. Sam DeSouza (6'8''-F/C, played in 2020-22, plays pro in Argentina) could not help Las Heras (1-2) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite DeSouza's good performance the 11th-placed Las Heras (1-2) was defeated 104-93 on the road by the leading San Isidro in the Conferencia Norte. He scored 14 points. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's DeSouza's first year with the team. This season DeSouza averages 7.7ppg and 3.0rpg. He is a naturalized Guyanese.
