#1. Patrell Rogers, a 6'2'' guard who is 31 years old and a graduate of SC State in 2016, showcased his skills as a professional player in the ECBL by leading the Carolina Thunder to a thrilling 119-110 victory over the SC Upstate Redhawks on Saturday night. In a standout performance, Rogers scored an impressive 44 points, secured 7 rebounds, and contributed 3 assists, earning him the title of MVP for the game. Despite the Carolina Thunder having a somewhat modest 7-6 record this season, Rogers' exceptional abilities on the court have not gone unnoticed. The Regular Season in the East Coast Basketball League has already concluded, but Rogers' stellar display against the SC Upstate Redhawks further solidified his reputation as a champion player. His remarkable season statistics, averaging 39.8 points per game (the second-best in the league), along with 5.7 rebounds per game and 3.9 assists per game, highlight his consistent performance and valuable contribution to his team. As a result of his outstanding skills and leadership, Rogers has rightfully earned an Elite Badge from eurobasket.com, underscoring his status as a standout finalist in the league.
#2. James Richardson, a 6'2'' guard/forward and Bulldogs alumnus from 2018, showcased his skills in the East Coast Basketball League by leading the PrimeTime Players to a significant 124-114 victory over the Bailing Brothers, who held an 11-3 record. Richardson's stellar performance included scoring 12 points, securing 4 rebounds, delivering 4 assists, and making 2 blocks. This game was highly anticipated as it featured a matchup between two top-ranked teams in Conference Central, highlighting the PrimeTime Players' success despite their somewhat modest 10-3 season record. The victory marked the team's fourth consecutive win, demonstrating their strong momentum as they headed into the playoffs. The Regular Season in the East Coast Basketball League has already concluded, with Richardson standing out as a standout player with impressive statistics. He has maintained an outstanding season average of 25.8 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game, 1.5 blocks per game, and 1.6 steals per game. Richardson's exceptional contributions on the court have solidified his reputation as a champion in the league, showcasing his prowess as a key player for the PrimeTime Players.
