Every week we bring you a list of the top former Pirates players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Jared Rhoden, a 6'6'' guard/forward who graduated from Seton Hall in 2022 and earned the All-Big East First Team award that same year, currently showcases his skills as a professional player in France. In a recent game, despite his commendable performance, Rhoden was unable to guide Paris Basketball (22-8) to victory as they were narrowly defeated 90-89 by the fifth-ranked Cholet Basket on the road. Rhoden displayed his talent by scoring 16 points, securing 8 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists in just 23 minutes of play. Although he put forth an impressive effort against Cholet, his team fell short in securing the win. Throughout the season, Rhoden has maintained solid statistics, averaging 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the 23 games he has participated in so far. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate his value as a key player for Paris Basketball, despite the unfortunate outcome of their recent match against Cholet Basket.

#2. Myles Cale, a 6'6'' guard/forward and 27-year-old alumni of the Pirates from 2022, currently playing professionally in Spain, played a significant role in his team's dominant 91-68 victory over the closely-ranked UCAM last Tuesday in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Despite FC Barcelona Lassa being placed fifth in the league with a record of 24-10, Cale helped secure their sixth consecutive win. In the game against Murcia, Cale showcased his skills by contributing 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. His exceptional performance on the court was crucial in leading his team to victory and ultimately securing the champion title in the matchup. Throughout this season, Cale has maintained an average of 6.9 points per game and 2.1 rebounds per game in the 28 games he has played thus far.

#3. Trinidad and Tobago's Khadeen Carrington, a 6'4'' shooting guard who is 30 years old and graduated from Seton Hall in 2018, showcased his skills as a champion player in a recent game. Playing professionally in Israel, he was a major contributor in Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem's victory over the sixth-ranked H.Gilboa Galil with a score of 82-71 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday. Carrington, in his fourth season with the team, recorded an impressive performance, scoring 13 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and dishing out 1 assist in 25 minutes of play. Notably, he also made 4 steals during the game, highlighting his defensive prowess. With a season average of 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in the 27 games he has played so far, Carrington has been a key player for his team this year. His consistent contributions on the court demonstrate his determination and skills as a finalist in the basketball arena. Additionally, it is interesting to note that Carrington is a naturalized American player, adding to the diversity and talent of the team.

#4. In the recent game, Chaunce Jenkins, a 6'4'' guard and Pirates alumnus from 2025 now playing professionally in Israel, was unable to lead Maccabi Rishon to victory. Despite his commendable performance, Maccabi Rishon, currently ranked seventh with a 12-14 record, suffered a heavy 95-69 defeat at home to the second-placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the top eight group standings. Jenkins, in his first season with the team, showcased his skills by scoring 12 points, making 3 assists, and playing for 26 minutes. In the challenging match against Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Jenkins displayed his talent by contributing 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. Although his team could not secure the win, Jenkins' individual effort highlighted his capabilities as a true champion on the court. Throughout this season, Jenkins has maintained solid averages of 9.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game across seven appearances.

#5. U.S. Virgin Islands native Desi Rodriguez, a 6'6'' power forward who graduated from Seton Hall in 2018 and received the USBWA All-District II Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Israel. In a recent match, Rodriguez, representing Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona, was unable to lead his team to victory against Kiryat Ata in the Israeli Winner League. Despite his efforts on the court, where he contributed 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 6 minutes of play, Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona suffered a 64-78 defeat to Kiryat Ata, who are currently ranked second in the Places 11-14 group. This loss marked the third consecutive defeat for Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona. Although Rodriguez displayed his skills with a decent performance, his individual effort was not enough to secure a win for his team. Throughout the season, he has maintained solid statistics, averaging 15.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game across 25 appearances. Despite the challenging match against Kiryat Ata, Rodriguez continues to be a key player for his team as they strive for success in the league.

#6. Canadian champion Tyrese Samuel, a 6'10'' forward and 25-year-old Gators alumnus from 2024, who previously played for Seton Hall between 2019 and 2023, showcased his talent by leading the Vancouver Bandits to a 110-100 victory over the River Lions in the Canadian Elite Basketball League last Friday. Samuel, the finalist MVP of the game, delivered a stellar performance with a double-double, scoring 29 points and securing 14 rebounds in just 33 minutes of play. His remarkable performance in that game even earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his reputation as a standout player. Throughout the season, Samuel has consistently excelled, boasting high stats that reflect his talent and dedication. With an average of 20.1 points per game, 9.1 rebounds (ranking third best in the league), and 2.7 assists in seven games, he has undoubtedly been a key player for his team, demonstrating his prowess as a true champion in the league.

#7. Myles Powell, a 6'2'' guard who graduated from Seton Hall in 2020, recently showcased his exceptional skills in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Playing for the Scarborough Shooting Stars, Powell led his team to a thrilling 2-point victory over the Surge with a final score of 106-104. Powell's outstanding performance earned him the MVP title of the game, where he displayed his talent by scoring an impressive 29 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and providing 4 assists in just 30 minutes of play. In addition to his remarkable game-winning performance, Powell has been having an exceptional season in Canada.
