#1. David Nwaba (6'5''-G/F-1993, played in 2012-13, plays pro in United Kingdom) led his British team London Lions to a victory over the closely-ranked Turk Telekom (8-10) crushing them 100-77 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Nwaba was MVP of the game. He recorded 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes. London Lions (12-6) is placed third in the Eurocup. Nwaba has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.1apg, 1.1bpg and 1.4spg in seven games he played so far. He is a naturalized Nigerian. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#2. Experienced De'Shawn Stephens (6'8''-F-1989, played in 2009-11, plays in Greece) contributed to Promitheas' victory against the closely-ranked AEK (8-12) 91-87 in the Greek GBL last Saturday. Stephens scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. ASP Promitheas Patras (6-2) is placed third in the GBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Stephens' first season with the team. This year he averages 6.4ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.2apg.
#3. Michael Fry (6'9''-F-1997, played in 2017-18, currently in the TBL) contributed to an easy victory against the Bakersfield Majestics (0-3) 111-93 in the TBL on Wednesday night. Fry recorded 11 points in a mere 18 minutes. The Los Angeles Ignite has 2-0 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Fry averages 6.0ppg and 1.5rpg in two games. He attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
#4. Daniel Estes (6'6''-F/C-1996, played in 2017-19, plays pro in the TBL) managed to help Long Beach Blue Waves to win against the Bakersfield Majestics (0-3) crushing them 126-100 in the TBL in Sunday night's game. He recorded 5 points. The Long Beach Blue Waves have 2-1 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Estes averages 3.5ppg.
