#1. Mike Davis Jr., a 6'4'' guard who graduated from Queens, NC in 2018 and received the All-SAC Second Team award that year, currently plays professionally in France. Recently, he was unable to assist SIG Strasbourg (17-13) in their game last Saturday, where they were defeated 89-75 on the road by the second-ranked Paris Basket. Despite the loss, Davis Jr. showcased his skills by scoring 25 points, along with contributing 4 assists and 3 steals in 32 minutes of play. This season marks Davis Jr.'s debut with the team, and he has been a standout performer with impressive statistics, averaging 19.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Despite his individual success, his team fell short in their recent game against Paris Basket.
#2. Todd Withers, a 30-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and an alumnus of the Royals from 2018, is currently playing professionally in New Zealand. Recently, he played a crucial role in the Canterbury Rams' impressive 93-74 victory over the ninth-ranked Giants (3-7) in the New Zealand National Basketball League. With 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist in 33 minutes of play, Withers showcased his skills and helped secure the win for his team. The Canterbury Rams, with a record of 8-3, hold the third position in the league standings. With this win, they achieved their third consecutive victory, highlighting their strong performance in the league. Withers' remarkable performance against the Giants not only contributed significantly to the team's success but also solidified his position as the champion of the game. Throughout the season, Withers has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 12.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. #3. Brazilian champion Leonardo Colimerio, a 25-year-old forward standing at 6'7'' and a graduate of Queens, NC in 2025, showcased his skills in Australia where he currently plays professionally. Recently, he led the Eltham Wildcats to a dominant victory against the 16th-ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (4-9) in the Australian NBL One, the second division league. The Wildcats cruised to a 105-83 win on Saturday night, with Colimerio contributing 12 points and 6 rebounds in just 23 minutes of play. Currently, the Eltham Wildcats hold the top spot in the South group with a record of 10-3, marking their third consecutive win. Colimerio's stellar performance against the Diamond Valley Eagles included not only his scoring and rebounding but also a key assist, further solidifying his impact on the court. His season averages of 12.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game reflect his consistent contributions to the team's success. As a key player for the Eltham Wildcats, Colimerio's performance against the Diamond Valley Eagles exemplified his talent and leadership, ultimately guiding his team to emerge as the champion in that game.
#4. In a thrilling match on Saturday night, Jalin Alexander, a 31-year-old shooting guard standing at 6'3'' and a graduate of the class of 2018, showcased his basketball prowess in the ECBL. Playing for the PrimeTime Players, he led his team to a narrow 164-162 victory over the Carolina Panthers, who are currently at 0-13. Alexander's remarkable performance earned him the prestigious All-SAC Honorable Mention award in 2018. During the game, Alexander displayed his versatility by recording a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds. In addition, he contributed 6 assists and 2 blocks, demonstrating his well-rounded skills on the court. This victory marked the PrimeTime Players' third consecutive win, despite their somewhat modest 9-3 record this season. As the regular season nears its end, Alexander's leadership and exceptional gameplay have been pivotal for his team. With only one more game left in the season, every match becomes crucial for the PrimeTime Players. Alexander's season averages of 20.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game highlight his significant contributions to the team's success. In recognition of his outstanding performance against the Carolina Panthers, the finalist not only secured the victory but also earned the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. Alexander's consistent excellence on the court has undoubtedly made him a standout player in the ECBL this season.
