Every week we bring you a list of the top former Boilermakers players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. In a thrilling match last Thursday, Lasha Petree, a 6'0'' guard who graduated from Purdue in 2023 and currently plays professionally in the UPSHOT league, showcased her exceptional talent by leading the Savannah Steel to a hard-fought victory against the Charlotte Crown. Despite the Charlotte Crown's strong efforts, Petree's performance was instrumental in securing an 81-76 win for her team. She displayed her prowess on the court by scoring 13 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in just 29 minutes of play. This game, which featured two of the top 4 ranked teams in the league, was a standout match of the round. Despite the Savannah Steel having a somewhat weak 2-3 record this season, Petree's stellar performance demonstrated her ability to elevate her team in crucial moments. As the season is still in its early stages, there is ample opportunity for the team to improve and achieve greater success. Petree's remarkable individual achievements this season further underscore her status as a standout player in the league. With an average of 19.4 points per game, ranking her third best in the league, along with 2.6 rebounds per game and 2.4 steals per game (leading the league), she continues to excel on both ends of the court. Her consistent high-level performance has undoubtedly positioned her as a key player in the league and a driving force behind her team's journey to potentially become the champion.

#2. Australian Abbey Ellis, a 5'6'' guard and 25-year-old Boilermakers alumna from the class of 2024, showcased her talent while playing professionally in Australia. Despite her stellar performance, Ellis could not lead the Diamond Valley Eagles (9-4) to victory in their recent game. The fourth-placed Diamond Valley Eagles narrowly lost 82-81 on the road against the second-ranked Wildcats in the South group. During the game, Ellis contributed significantly, scoring 11 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists in 44 minutes of play. She displayed her skill and determination on the court, but unfortunately, her team fell short of securing the win. Throughout the season, Ellis has been a standout player with impressive statistics. She currently averages 25.8 points per game, ranking her third best in the league, along with 6.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.3 steals per game in the 13 games she has competed in so far. Her strong individual performance has been a key factor in her team's success, despite the recent setback against the Wildcats.

#3. Reagan Bass, a 6'2'' forward who graduated from Purdue in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Australia, recently showcased her skills for Geelong United in a challenging match against the formidable Ballarat Miners in the Australian NBL One North, the second division of the league. Despite Bass's commendable performance of scoring 8 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and contributing 2 blocks in 32 minutes of play, Geelong United, currently positioned 18th in the league with a 2-11 record, suffered a significant defeat against the 6th-ranked Ballarat Miners. The final score of 95-73 in favor of the Ballarat Miners marked Geelong United's fourth consecutive loss. In this particular game, Bass exhibited her talent by adding 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist to her team's efforts. Her performance was indeed impressive, but unfortunately, Geelong United was unable to secure a victory against the strong competition posed by the Ballarat Miners. Throughout the season, Bass has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in the 13 games she has participated in so far. Her consistent contributions on the court demonstrate her dedication and skills as a champion player in the league.
