#1. Kevin Baker (6'8''-F-1998, played in 2016-18, plays pro in Australia) led Central District Lions to a victory over the fifth-ranked Woodville Warriors (6-4) 103-84 in the Australian NBL One (second division) last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Baker scored 24 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Central District Lions (2-8) are placed ninth in Central group. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. Baker has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.4apg, 1.3bpg and 1.4spg in seven games he played so far.
#2. Kaelin Crane (6'6''-G/F-1998, played in 2017-19, plays in Azerbaijan) contributed to Sabah's victory against the closely-ranked Xirdalan (19-9) 83-77 in a derby game in the Azerbaijani ABL on Wednesday night. Crane scored 14 points, grabbed 5 boards, handed out 4 passes and blocked 2 shots; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sabah BK Baku (21-7) is placed first in the ABL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Crane's first year with the team. This season Crane averages 9.2ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.5apg.
#3. Jannik Rothrock (5'8''-PG-2000, played in 2019-20, currently in Switzerland), who plays in the Swiss SBL could not help Nyon (12-8) to beat Geneve (19-11). It was not Rothrock's best game last Saturday. He scored only 2 points in 9 minutes on the court. Nyon lost 64-79 at home to the lower-ranked (#3) Geneve. This year Rothrock averages 1.5ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.2apg in 32 games.
#4. Martin Adams (6'9''-C-1999, played in 2017-18, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to help the Vancouver Volcanoes (5-14) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Vancouver Volcanoes (#7) were edged88-87 on the road by the Wenatchee Bighorns. Adams recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. Adams has relatively good stats this season 13.9ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.8bpg.
#5. J.T. Terrell IV (6'4''-G-1991, played in 2011-12, plays in the TBL) managed to help South Bay Flash in a victory against the Bakersfield Majestics 105-89 in the TBL on Wednesday night. Terrell IV scored only 3 points in 18 minutes. The South Bay Flash has 9-9 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Terrell IV has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg in 12 games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Samuel Velez (6'9''-F/C, played in 2016-17) played for Southwest Florida Blazers in the PBA last year
