#1. Lenell Henry (6'8''-PF-1998, played in 2018-19, plays pro in Chile) led Valdivia to a victory against the fifth-ranked Puerto Varas (4-6) 87-77 in the Chilean LNB last Friday. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. Club Deportivo Valdivia (6-4) is placed first in Sur group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Henry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.1ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.3apg, 1.1bpg and 1.2spg in 10 games he played so far.
#2. Duke Deen (5'8''-PG-2001, played in 2020-21, plays in Denmark) could not help one of league's weakest teams Bakken Bears (2-3) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his good performance Bakken Bears was defeated 90-79 at home by the second-ranked Szombathely. Deen scored 10 points and added 5 assists. His team will play only one more game in the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Deen has relatively good stats this season 13.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 6.6apg.
#3. Tope Arikawe (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2015-17, currently in Portugal) was not able to help Sampaense in their game against Illiabum (5-1) in the Portuguese Proliga (second division), despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 10 rebounds in 45 minutes. But the sixth-placed Sampaense (2-4) was edged87-84 on their home court in Coimbra by the higher-ranked (#3) Illiabum in the North group. It was Sampaense's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Arikawe's first season with the team. Arikawe has very impressive stats this year 19.0ppg, 12.2rpg and 2.2apg in five games. Arikawe is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
#4. Experienced Chris Ross (6'1''-G-1985, played in 2003-04, plays pro in Philippines) managed to help San Miguel Beermen to win against the sixth-ranked Hotshots (4-2) 94-92 in the Filipino PBA last Friday. He scored only 2 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists. San Miguel Beermen (5-2) is placed second in the PBA. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Ross' 13th season with the team. This year Ross averages 1.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.0apg.
#5. Radvilas Kneizys (6'4''-G-2003, played in 2023-24, plays in Lithuania) was not able to secure a victory for Neptunas (3-4) in their game against Hapoel Jerusalem (5-2) in the Eurocup. He did not have that impressive stats last Tuesday. Kneizys recorded only 2 points in 11 minutes. Neptunas was badly defeated110-93 on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) Hapoel Jerusalem. It was Neptunas' first loss after three consecutive victories. This year Kneizys averages 1.8ppg in four games.
#6. Joshua Morris (6'8''-F-1993, played in 2013-15, currently in Chile) was the major contributor in a Puerto Varas' victory against the leader Valdivia 89-74 in the Chilean LNB in Saturday night's game. He scored 19 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Morris has relatively good stats this season 14.1ppg, 7.7rpg, 2.5apg and 1.6spg.
#7. Justin Dennis (6'1''-G-1987, played in 2006-08, plays pro in Germany) led TSG Bergedorf Stargazers Hamburg to a 1-point victory over the 15th-ranked Vechta-3 76-75 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Dennis scored 24 points, grabbed 4 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 4 balls in 32 minutes. Dennis has very impressive stats this year 15.1ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.4apg and 1.9spg in eight games. Dennis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
