#1. Tyson Ward (6'6''-SF-1997, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Greece) contributed to Olympiacos' victory against the league leader Hapoel Tel-Aviv (7-2) 62-58 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus (5-3) is placed sixth in the Euroleague. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Ward's first year with the team. This season Ward averages 7.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.8apg in eight games he played so far.
#2. Sam Griesel (6'7''-G/F-2000, played in 2018-22, plays in Germany) led ALBA Berlin to a victory over the tenth-ranked Telekom Baskets (3-3) 84-70 in the German BBL last Sunday. Griesel was MVP of the game. He scored 14 points; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Griesel's third season in pro basketball. ALBA Berlinis placed in the BBL. It's Griesel's first year with the team. This season he averages 6.0ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.2apg.
#3. Vinnie Shahid (5'11''-PG-1998, played in 2018-20, currently in Mexico), who plays in the Mexican LNBP (second division) could not help Panteras de Aguascalientes (12-16) to beat Fuerza Regia (20-8). Shahid scored only 4 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 18 minutes. Panteras de Aguascalientes lost 94-104 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Fuerza Regia. It was Panteras de Aguascalientes' fifth consecutive loss in a row. It's Shahid's first season with the team. This year he averages 9.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.6apg in 22 games.
#4. Rocky Kreuser (6'9''-F-1999, played in 2017-22, plays in Greece) was not able to help the league outsider Panionios in their game against Kolossos HH (2-3) in the Greek GBL. He scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in only 14 minutes. The bottom-ranked Panionios was edged78-76 in Rodou by the higher-ranked (#8) Kolossos HH. So far Panionios lost all five games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Kreuser averages 5.0ppg and 4.8rpg in five games.
