#1. Stevie Strong (6'1''-G, played in 2021-24, plays pro in Sweden) led Nassjo to a victory against the closely-ranked Jamtland (6-4) 101-95 in the Swedish Basketligan on Tuesday night. He recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and made 2 blocks in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Strong's first season in pro basketball. KFUM Nassjo Basket (6-4) is placed fourth in the Basketligan. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Strong has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.4apg and 2.3spg.
#2. Thomas Zevgaras (6'8''-F-2001, played in 2022-24, plays in Greece). He could not help Karditsas (2-3) to beat Olympiacos (6-0) in the Greek GBL. Zevgaras did not impress in that game on Sunday. He scored only 2 points. Karditsas was badly defeated102-82 on the road by the leading Olympiacos. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Zevgaras averages 0.7ppg in three games he played so far.
#3. Boston Stanton (6'5''-G, played in 2023-25, currently in Germany), who plays in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) was not able to help Bramsche (6-4) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance the fifth-placed Bramsche (6-4) was edged84-82 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Bargteheide in the North group. Stanton was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 3 steals in 27 minutes. It's Stanton's first season with the team. This year Stanton has very high stats. He averages 24.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 2.5apg and 2.4spg.
#4. Ben Ayre (6'2''-G-1995, played in 2017-19, plays pro in Australia) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Tasmania JackJumpers (5-7) in their last game. Despite his good performance Tasmania JackJumpers were edged83-81 in Brisbane by the higher-ranked (#6) Bullets. Ayre scored 14 points. It was Tasmania JackJumpers' fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Ayre averages 6.4ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.8apg in 12 games.
