#1. Australian player Daniel Titus, a 6'8'' forward aged 26, graduated from Coppin St. in 2023. He previously played at Neosho Co. from 2019 to 2021 before embarking on his professional basketball career in Australia. Titus recently led the Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders to a thrilling 109-108 victory over the fifth-ranked Canberra Gunners (8-3) in the Australian NBL One, the second division of Australian basketball. In this game, he showcased his talents by scoring 19 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists in 35 minutes of play, highlighting his potential as a champion player. Despite being only in his third season in professional basketball, Titus has been making a significant impact on the court. His remarkable performance against the Canberra Gunners is a testament to his growing skills and abilities. Currently, the Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders hold the 13th position in the East group with a record of 3-9. Titus's overall performance this season has been impressive, averaging 14.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game in the 10 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions to the team's success further establish him as a standout finalist in the league.
#2. New Zealand's Tane Kirisome, a 6'4'' guard who is 23 years old, is a former Lions alumnus from 2026. He previously played for Neosho Co. between 2022 and 2024 before turning pro in Australia. In a recent match, Kirisome played a key role in helping Logan Thunder secure a victory against the 12th-ranked Seahawks with a score of 95-78 in the Australian NBL One, the second division league. Despite scoring only 3 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in 15 minutes of play, his performance was crucial in the team's success. Logan Thunder, currently holding a 5-2 record, is positioned fifth in the North group standings. Kirisome's exceptional play against the NGC Seahawks, where he contributed 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist, greatly assisted his team in clinching the victory and ultimately emerging as the champion in that game. Throughout this year, Kirisome has been averaging 1.7 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game across three games. It is interesting to note that Kirisome holds dual American and New Zealand citizenship, allowing him to qualify as a domestic player in New Zealand if he chooses to play there in the future.
#3. Australian basketball player Chol Adup, a 6'4'' guard at 27 years old, completed his studies at CCU in 2021. Prior to playing professionally in Australia, he showcased his skills at Neosho Co. from 2018 to 2020. Despite his efforts, Adup was unable to lead Sydney City Comets (6-7) to victory against the dominant Excellence (12-1) in the Australian NBL One, the second division league. In a recent game, Adup contributed 2 points in just 6 minutes of play, a performance he does not consider one of his best. The Sydney City Comets, currently in ninth place, suffered a 62-76 defeat on the road against the top-ranked Excellence in the East group. While Adup managed to score 2 points against BA CoE in another match, his team was unable to secure a win. So far this season, Adup has been averaging 4.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in the 13 games he has played.
#4. Dhol Majak, a 26-year-old forward/center standing at 6'10'', is a Buccaneers alumni from 2024. He previously played for Neosho Co. between 2019 and 2020 before turning professional in El Salvador. In a recent game, Majak, unable to lift his team Santa Ana (1-16) past Santa Tecla (11-6) in the Salvadorean Liga Mayor Baloncesto (second division), showcased his skills by scoring 8 points, pulling down 11 rebounds, and contributing 1 assist in 27 minutes of play. The struggling Santa Ana team suffered a heavy defeat of 101-78 at home against the higher-ranked Santa Tecla (#4), marking their ninth consecutive loss. Despite Majak's notable performance, Santa Ana could not secure a victory. With only one more game left in the Regular Season, the upcoming match holds significant importance for his team. Throughout this year, Majak has maintained an average of 10.0 points per game, 11.0 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game over the course of 13 games.
#5. South Sudanese champion Jo Lual-Acuil, a 7'0'' center who is 32 years old and graduated from Baylor University in 2018, previously played for Neosho Co. between 2013 and 2015, where he received the All-KJCCC Jayhawk East Defensive Player of the Year award. Lual-Acuil's individual performance has been outstanding this year, as he is averaging 18.0 points per game, 9.7 rebounds per game, and 2.0 blocks per game, which ranks him as the third-best shot-blocker in the league.
