#1. Experienced John Taylor (6'1''-F-1989, played in 2011-12, plays pro in the TBL) could not help the Bakersfield Majestics in their game last Saturday. Despite Taylor's very good performance the Bakersfield Majestics (#9) were edged120-118 on the road by the San Diego Sharks. He was the top scorer with 41 points. Taylor also added 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals in 35 minutes. Taylor has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 25.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#2. Ruston Hayward (6'5''-SF-1993, played in 2013-14, plays in the TBL) led Enid Outlaws to a victory against the Wichita Skykings (10-3) 126-121 in the TBL in Sunday night's game. Hayward had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 5 assists and 3 steals. The Enid Outlaws have 6-6 record this season. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Hayward has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.9apg and 1.7spg in 11 games he played so far.
#3. Coreontae DeBerry (6'10''-C-1994, played in 2012-13, currently in the TBL) contributed to an easy victory against the Huntsville Hurricanes (8-4) crushing them 132-105 in the TBL last Sunday. He scored 15 points in a mere 18 minutes. The Cincinnati Warriors have 4-6 record this season. This year DeBerry has very high stats. He averages 15.6ppg and 5.0rpg.
#4. Lorenzo Collier (6'3''-G-1994, played in 2013-16, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to help the Flint United in their game against the Glass City Wranglers (10-4) in the TBL. Collier recorded 6 points. The Flint United (#5) lost 81-89 in Toledo to the Glass City Wranglers. It was United's fifth consecutive loss in a row. This year Collier averages 3.8ppg and 1.8rpg in five games.
