#1. Zac Cuthbertson (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2016-17, plays pro in France) led ES Chalon-Sur-Saone to a victory over the 13th-ranked JDA Dijon (2-5) 90-74 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Cuthbertson recorded 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 32 minutes. ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (4-3) is placed ninth in the Betclic ELITE ProA. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Cuthbertson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.9spg in seven games he played so far.
#2. Malevy Leons (6'10''-F-1999, played in 2019-21, plays in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a 2-point Oklahoma City Blue's victory against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (0-1) 116-114 in the NBA G League on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Leons recorded 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It was his first game for Oklahoma City Blue this season; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. His team has 1-0 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen.
#3. Daniel Norl (6'2''-SG-1995, played in 2015-16, currently in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Leverkusen (2-2) crushing them 97-71 in the German ProA (second division) in Sunday night's game. Norl scored 13 points in 31 minutes. Giessen 46ers (4-4) is placed seventh in the ProA. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Norl's first year with the team. This season he averages 5.4ppg and 1.9rpg in seven games. Norl is a naturalized German.
#4. Brett Thompson (6'1''-G, played in 2022-22, plays pro in North Macedonia) contributed to a 3-point Rabotnicki's victory against the league outsider Cair 2030 (0-6) 87-84 in a derby game in the North Macedonian Prva Liga last Saturday. Thompson scored 8 points and added 11 passes. KK Rabotnicki AD Skopje (4-2) is placed fifth in the Prva Liga. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Thompson's first year with the team. This season he has very high stats. Thompson averages 16.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 7.3apg and 2.0spg.
#5. Experienced Carlton Guyton (6'3''-G-1990, played in 2008-10, plays in Brazil) was the major contributor in U.Corinthians' victory against one of league's weakest teams Rio Claro (1-6) 68-61 in the Brazilian NBB on Wednesday night. Guyton recorded 13 points in 22 minutes. Luvix/Uniao Corinthians (3-2) is placed ninth in the NBB. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Guyton averages 4.6ppg and 1.8apg in five games.
