#1. Experienced Israeli basketball player Alysha Clark, standing at 5'11'' and 38 years old, is a former MTSU graduate from 2010 who received the Sun Belt All-Tournament MVP award that year. Currently playing professionally in the WNBA, Clark recently contributed significantly to a resounding victory against the Seattle Storm, with a final score of 79-56 in favor of her team, the Dallas Wings. Despite the Storm's 3-8 record, Clark showcased her skills by scoring 6 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and providing 1 assist in just 18 minutes of gameplay. The Dallas Wings, with a somewhat lackluster 6-3 record this season, secured their third consecutive win with Clark's stellar performance. While it is still early in the season, Clark's impact on the court has been undeniable, helping her team maintain a winning streak. Her standout display in the recent game against the Seattle Storm was instrumental in clinching victory and solidifying her status as the champion of the match. In the seven games she has played this season, Clark has averaged 2.9 points per game and 1.6 rebounds per game. Additionally, it is noteworthy that she holds both American and Israeli citizenship, allowing her to play in Israel as a domestic player. Cheyenne Parker-Tyus, a 6'4'' forward and 33-year-old Lady Raiders alumna from 2015 who currently plays professionally in the WNBA, played a key role in helping the Las Vegas Aces secure a victory against the Los Angeles Sparks with a score of 79-69 in the Women's National Basketball Association during Tuesday night's game. In just 8 minutes of play, she contributed 5 points and 4 rebounds to the team's success. Despite the Las Vegas Aces holding a somewhat unimpressive 6-3 record this season, Parker-Tyus delivered an outstanding performance against the LA Sparks. In addition to her 5 points and 4 rebounds, she also provided 2 assists, showcasing her versatility and impact on the court. Her efforts were instrumental in leading her team to triumph in the game. Throughout this season, Parker-Tyus has maintained an average of 4.9 points per game and 2.6 rebounds per game across the seven games she has participated in so far, demonstrating her consistent contribution to the team's performance.
