#1. Le'Tre Darthard (6'4''-G-2000, played in 2019-20, plays pro in Hungary) was the major contributor in Szolnok's surprising victory against the fifth-ranked Honved (3-2) 85-68 in the Hungarian A Division on Friday night. He scored 14 points in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Darthard's second season in pro basketball. NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyaszis placed 15th in the A Division. It's Darthard's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Darthard averages 15.8ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.8apg.
#2. Ezichi Kalu (6'11''-C-2000, played in 2021-22, plays in Spain). Kalu could not help Mataro UE (0-4) to beat Lliria (4-0) in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division). He did not impress in that game on Sunday. Kalu recorded only one point and grabbed 6 rebounds. The 13th-placed Mataro UE (0-4) was edged81-78 at home by the second-ranked Lliria in the East group. So far Mataro UE lost all four games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Kalu averages 4.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.8bpg in four games he played so far.
#3. Beni Fungula (6'4''-G-1999, played in 2021-22, currently in Germany) managed to help Baskets Juniors TSG Westerstede to win against the seventh-ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (3-3) 89-74 in the German ProB (third division) last Sunday. He scored only 2 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 20 minutes. Baskets Juniors TSG Westerstede (4-2) is placed sixth in North group. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Fungula has very high stats. He averages 16.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg.
#4. Marcus Tobin (6'6''-F-2001, played in 2019-21, plays pro in Japan) contributed to a Fukui Blowinds' victory against the fifth-ranked Excellence (4-5) 83-77 in the Japanese B2 League on Friday night. Tobin scored 6 points. Fukui Blowinds (6-3) are placed second in East group. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This year Tobin averages 3.4ppg and 2.0rpg in nine games.
