Australian Sebastian Griffin, a 24-year-old guard standing at 6'3'' who graduated from Mayville St. in 2023, was a key player in helping his team win the North Star Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Griffin recently showcased his skills in a game for the Sturt Sabres in the Australian NBL One, the second division of Australian basketball. In a thrilling match against the seventh-ranked Central District Lions, Griffin's team emerged victorious with a close score of 84-81. Griffin's solid performance included scoring 8 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and contributing 1 assist in 24 minutes of play. The Sturt Sabres, with a record of 10-2, currently hold the third position in the Central group standings. Griffin's consistent contributions on the court have been significant throughout the season, as evidenced by his average stats of 7.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. His recent performance against Central District Lions further solidified his reputation as a true champion, showcasing his skills and determination to lead his team to success.
