Here is the weekly review of the top performing Thundering Herd alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Jarrod West, a 6'0'' forward aged 27, is a standout basketball player with an impressive career. Having graduated from Louisville in 2022, he honed his skills at Marshall University from 2017 to 2021, where he earned the coveted C-USA All-Defensive Team award in his final year. Currently playing professionally in Bosnia, West recently led his team, KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo, to a significant victory over the second-ranked Igokea with a score of 76-70 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In this crucial match between top-tier teams, West displayed his prowess by contributing 12 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals in just 32 minutes of play, earning him the title of MVP. This exceptional performance underscores his reputation as a champion. Despite it being his first season with KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo, West has already made a considerable impact. His season statistics reflect his skill and consistency, boasting an average of 10.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. West's impressive play and leadership on the court have undoubtedly contributed to his team's success, positioning them at the top of the standings in their group. As a finalist, West continues to demonstrate his talent and determination, making him a key player to watch in the basketball scene.

#2. Jon Elmore, a 6'3'' guard and 30-year-old Thundering Herd alumni from 2019, who helped them secure the CIT Championship Winner title that year, is currently playing professionally in Canada. Despite his best efforts, Elmore could not assist the Calgary Surge (0-4) in their recent game last Sunday. The Calgary team (#5) suffered a 111-101 defeat on the road by the Bandits, with Elmore contributing 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 32 minutes of play. Although the Calgary Surge faced a setback, it is still early in the season, and there is potential for improvement as they progress. Elmore displayed a commendable performance against Vancouver, where he notched 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. However, despite his notable contributions, his team ended up on the losing side. This season, Elmore is averaging 8.0 points per game, along with 3.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. As the season unfolds, Elmore's skills and leadership on the court may play a pivotal role in steering his team towards success.

#3. Mikel Beyers, a 6'9'' forward who is 28 years old and a Marshall University graduate from 2022, currently plays professionally in the TBL. In a recent match, he played a crucial role in the Great Falls Electric's victory over the Grant County Redtails by contributing 9 points and 7 rebounds, going a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line in 31 minutes of play. This win helped the Great Falls Electric improve their season record to 12-6, marking their seventh consecutive victory. Beyers' impressive performance of 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist against the Grant County Redtails highlighted his skills as a champion and was instrumental in securing the win for his team. His overall season stats are also noteworthy, averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

#4. Wilson Dubinsky, a 6'3'' guard and Thundering Herd alumni from 2026, who helped them to win the Sun Belt Regular Season Co-Champion title that year, currently plays professionally in Canada. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, Dubinsky could not lead the Ottawa Blackjacks (2-3) to victory against the Alliance (2-3) in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. The Blackjacks, ranked #4, suffered a 96-87 defeat in Montreal. During the game, Dubinsky struggled to make an impact, scoring only 2 points in 29 minutes of play. In a subsequent game against Montreal, Dubinsky showed improvement by contributing 2 points and 3 rebounds to the team's effort. However, the Blackjacks still ended up on the losing side. Despite these recent challenges, Dubinsky's season averages remain respectable, with 3.2 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, 1.2 assists per game, and 1.4 steals per game.
