#1. Zane Waterman, a 6'8'' forward who is 30 years old and a graduate of Manhattan in 2018, currently plays professionally in Lithuania. Recently, he led Neptunas to a decisive 102-84 victory over the seventh-ranked Juventus in the Lithuanian Betsafe Lietuvos krepsinio lyga. In this game, he demonstrated his skills by scoring 14 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in just 20 minutes of play. Neptunas Klaipeda, with a record of 17-15, holds the third position in the league standings. Waterman's exceptional performance against Juventus not only helped his team secure the win but also ended a streak of five consecutive losses for his team. His consistent contributions on the court highlight his talent and determination, qualities that define him as a true champion. In the 29 games he has played this season, Waterman has been averaging 9.6 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game. His impressive statistics and impactful presence on the court underscore his importance to the team and establish him as a formidable force in the league.
#2. Experienced champion Emmanuel Andujar, a 6'6'' forward at 33 years old and an alum of the Jaspers class of 2015, has been making his mark in professional basketball in Puerto Rico. Despite his best efforts, Andujar was unable to lead the Capitanes de Arecibo (14-7) to victory over the Piratas (8-17) in a recent Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional matchup. In the game, he showcased his skills by recording 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in 26 minutes of play. The Capitanes de Arecibo, currently in second place with a record of 14-7, suffered an 82-88 defeat on the road to the Piratas, who are ranked lower at #6 in Group A. Despite Andujar's strong performance, including 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists against Quebradillas, his team was unable to secure the win. Throughout this season, Andujar has been averaging 6.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in the 12 games he has played so far. It is noteworthy that Andujar holds both American and Puerto Rican citizenship, allowing him to compete in Puerto Rico as a domestic player.
