#1. Romeao Ferguson (6'5''-G-1997, played in 2020-21, plays pro in Argentina). He could not help Boca Juniors (6-4) to beat Penarol (4-3) in the Argentinian La Liga. Ferguson scored 6 points in 16 minutes. Boca Juniors was defeated 89-78 on the road by the much lower-ranked Penarol (#10). This season Ferguson averages 6.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.3apg. He is a naturalized Argentinian.
#2. Gyasi Powell (6'3''-G-2002, played in 2024-25, plays in Cyprus) led Apollon to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Anorthosis (2-4) 92-74 in the Cypriot ECOMMBX BL in Saturday night's game. He scored 17 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Powell's first season in pro basketball. BC Apollon Limassolis placed fifth in the ECOMMBX BL. Powell has relatively good stats this year 11.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.5apg in six games he played so far.
#3. Will Pruitt (6'3''-G, played in 2020-25, currently in Belgium), who plays in Belgium was not able to help Stella Artois Leuven Bears (2-5) in their game last Saturday. Despite Pruitt's good performance Stella Artois Leuven Bears was defeated 88-83 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Circus_Brussels (#11). He recorded 12 points in 24 minutes. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Pruitt's first year with the team. Pruitt has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg.
#4. Andrew Fleming (6'6''-F-1996, played in 2017-20, plays pro in Chile) contributed to a Los Leones' victory against the leader Puente Alto (7-1) 92-83 in the Chilean LNB on Sunday night. Fleming scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Centro. Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue (10-0) is placed first. So far his team won all ten games in the Quarter-Finals. This year Fleming averages 8.6ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.3apg in 12 games.
#5. Martin Smith (6'5''-F-1993, played in 2011-15, plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for the league outsider Alfinden (0-6) in their game against Tarragona (5-1) in the Spanish Tercera FEB (fourth division). Smith scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. The 14th-placed Alfinden (0-6) was crushed92-55 at home by the much higher-ranked Tarragona (#3) in the Group C-A. So far Alfinden lost all six games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Smith's fourth year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 12.8ppg and 2.5rpg.
