#1. Experienced Angok Deng (6'8''-F-1992, played in 2012-14, plays pro in Lebanon) could not help Beirut Club (12-2) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Beirut Club lost 89-97 on the road to the lower-ranked (#9) Maristes. Deng recorded 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 26 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Deng has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.5ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.5spg in two games he played so far. Deng has also Australian passport.
#2. Jamal Jones (6'8''-SF-1993, played in 2012-13, plays in Russia) was not able to help Avtodor (20-24) in their last game on Monday. Despite his very good performance Avtodor was crushed95-59 at home by the higher-ranked UNICS (#3). Jones was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 3 blocks. Jones has relatively good stats this season 11.4ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.5apg.
#3. Tony Farmer (6'7''-F-1994, played in 2015-17, currently in Venezuela) led Marinos to a victory against the eighth-ranked Piratas (9-9) 91-81 in the Venezuelan SPB on Monday night. Farmer scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. Marinos de Oriente (13-8) is placed fourth in the SPB. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Farmer has very impressive stats this year 15.7ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.3apg in 16 games.
#4. Branden Jenkins (6'5''-G/F-1994, played in 2013-16, plays pro in Croatia) was not able to secure a victory for Dubrovnik (8-23) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Dubrovnik was defeated 93-89 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Split. Jenkins recorded 11 points. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Jenkins has relatively good stats this season 14.9ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.6apg. Worth to mention Jenkins played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#5. Trahson Burrell (6'7''-F/G-1992, played in 2012-14, plays in the TBL) contributed to an easy victory against the Tri-State Admirals (0-14) crushing them 122-73 in the TBL last Friday. Burrell scored 9 points, had 5 boards, handed out 6 passes and blocked 2 shots in 27 minutes. The Albany Patroons have a solid 12-4 record this season. Burrell has very impressive stats this year 21.2ppg, 10.5rpg, 5.2apg, 1.1bpg and 1.7spg in 11 games.
