#1. KJ Jenkins (6'2''-G-2000, played in 2020-21, plays pro in Sweden) led Boras to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Norrkoping (5-3) 101-84 in the Swedish Basketligan last Friday. He scored 21 points, made 9 passes and 3 steals in 24 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jenkins' second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Boras Basket (8-2) is placed first in the Basketligan. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Jenkins has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.4apg and 1.1spg in 10 games he played so far.
#2. Stefan Moody (5'11''-PG-1993, played in 2013-14, plays in Italy) could not help the league outsider Itelyum Varese in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Itelyum Varese was defeated 86-75 on the road by the higher-ranked Umana Venezia (#6). Moody scored 11 points and added 3 assists. This season Moody averages 3.7ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6spg.
#3. Chad Bowie (6'2''-G-1996, played in 2016-18, currently in Uganda) was not able to help City Oilers in their game against Blazers (21-3) in the Ugandan NBL, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. Bowie was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 6 boards, passed 5 assists and added 4 steals (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 38 minutes. But City Oilers was edged71-68 in a derby game by the leading Blazers. Bowie has very impressive stats this year 16.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.5apg and 2.8spg in 13 games.
#4. Dorian Benford (6'10''-C-2001, played in 2022-23, plays pro in Lebanon) was not able to secure a victory for Tadamon (0-4) in their game against Al Markaziyyah (3-1) in the Lebanese DLBL. Despite his very good performance last Tuesday He was the second best scorer with 17 points. Benford also added 6 rebounds (made all of his five free throws). The Regular Season already ended. It's Benford's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.7ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 2.0bpg.
