#1. David Jasson (6'0''-PG, played in 2017-18, plays pro in the BSL) could not help the Jamestown Jackals (0-2) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Jamestown Jackals (#14) lost 112-122 on the road to the Newfoundland Rogues. Jasson was the top scorer with 33 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jasson's first season in pro basketball. There are only three games left until the end of the BSL Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Jasson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 28.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 4.0apg and 1.5spg in two games he played so far.
#2. Simeon Lepichev (6'10''-F/C-1995, played in 2015-17, plays in Spain) was not able to help Melilla in their game against Ourense (5-10) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Lepichev scored 8 points. Melilla was defeated 81-67 at home by the lower-ranked Ourense (#10). So far Melilla lost all three games in the Regular Season. It's Lepichev's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.7ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.5apg.
#3. Sam Burt (6'7''-F-1994, played in 2013-14, currently in Iceland), who plays in the Icelandic D1 (second division) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Hrunamenn (2-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Hrunamenn lost 92-97 in Reykjavik to the higher-ranked (#10) Armann. Burt was the second best scorer with 27 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 33 minutes. It was Hrunamenn's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Burt has very impressive stats this year 15.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.0apg in four games. He is a naturalized Hungarian. Worth to mention Burt played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#4. Experienced Anthony Young (6'7''-PF-1989, played in 2008-10, plays pro in Argentina) led Riachuelo LR to a victory against the closely-ranked San Lorenzo (11-7) 72-62 in the Argentinian La Liga in Sunday night's game. He recorded 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Riachuelo de La Rioja (3-4) is placed fifth in the La Liga. Young has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg and 4.1rpg.
