#1. Rob Gray (6'1''-G-1994, played in 2013-15, plays pro in Greece) led Promitheas to a victory over the closely-ranked Karditsas (2-2) crushing them 91-62 in the Greek GBL on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Gray scored 28 points (!!!), grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 33 minutes. ASP Promitheas Patras (2-2) is placed ninth in the GBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Gray's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Gray averages 17.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.8apg and 2.6spg.
#2. Jack Pagenkopf (6'3''-PG-1997, played in 2017-18, plays in Bulgaria) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Minyor 2015 (3-2) 99-81 in the Bulgarian NBL in Monday night's game. Pagenkopf scored 14 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Balkan Botevgrad (2-0) is placed second in the NBL. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Pagenkopf's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 11.2ppg, 4.8rpg, 6.0apg and 1.3spg in six games he played so far.
#3. Jakub Niziol (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2015-16, currently in Poland), who plays in the Polish OBL could not help WKS Slask Wroclaw (3-3) to beat Wilki Morskie (5-1). He scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 29 minutes. WKS Slask Wroclaw was edged83-80 on the road by the higher-ranked Wilki Morskie (#3). It was WKS Slask Wroclaw's first loss after three consecutive victories. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Niziol averages 7.8ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.4apg.
#4. Andrija Blatancic (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Bulgaria) was not able to help Shumen (2-0) in their last game. Despite his good performance the league leader Shumen was crushed98-71 in Samokov by the second-ranked Rilski. Blatancic was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 4 assists. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Blatancic's first year with the team. Blatancic has relatively good stats this season 13.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.8apg and 2.0spg in four games. He has also Croatian nationality.
#5. Ognjen Lacmanovic (6'5''-SG-2003, played in 2021-22, plays in Montenegro) was the major contributor in Pljevlja's victory against the closely-ranked Lim (1-1) 87-84 in the Montenegrin Prva B (second division) in Saturday night's game. Lacmanovic scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 36 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. KK Pljevlja (2-0) is placed second in the Prva B. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Lacmanovic has relatively good stats this season 12.5ppg and 6.0rpg.
#6. Tsotne Tsartsidze (6'9''-F-2000, played in 2019-20, currently in Iceland) was not able to secure a victory for IR in their game against Thor Thorl in the Icelandic Subway League. He scored 9 points and added 4 passes. His team was edged 100-98. Tsartsidze has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.7apg in six games.
#7. Lis Shoshi (6'11''-C-1994, played in 2013-15, plays pro in Kosovo) couldn't help Ylli in their game against Trepca in the Kosovan Superliga. He recorded 8 points in 22 minutes. His team was edged 67-65. This season Shoshi averages 5.5ppg and 3.5rpg.
#8. Will Ellis (6'2''-G-1999, played in 2019-21, plays in Germany) couldn't help PS Karlsruhe Lions in their game against Bayreuth in the German ProA (second division). He scored 6 points. His team lost 82-97. This year Ellis averages 8.2ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.0apg in five games. He is a naturalized Jamaican.
#9. Greg Durand (6'5''-F-2000, played in 2020-21, currently in United Kingdom) managed to help Solent Kestrels to win against the eighth-ranked Knights crushing them 96-55 in the British NBL D1 (third division) last Saturday. He recorded only 3 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 23 minutes. This season Durand averages 7.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.3apg and 2.7spg.
